The Citizenship amendment bill aims to give citizenship to persecuted religious minorities in Pakistan,Afghanistan and Bangladesh - those belonging to the 4 Indian origin faiths (Heendoes, Seekhs, Boodhists and Jeins) plus Kristianity.

But this bill has irked sickulars, jhollachhaps and libtards simply because it does not provide citizenship to Mooz Limbs. So they are claiming that this bill discriminates on the basis of religion and thai violates sack you larizam and the basic ‘idea of India’.

How can the persecuted and the persecutors ever be viewed from the same lens ?? Is it that the sickulars , jhollachhaps and libtards do not know who is the persecutor in Pakistan , Bangladesh and Afghanistan !?

If we allow citizenship to the persecutor also then the persecutor will come here and do the same persecution business. So do the self declared apostles of sack you larizam want persecution of non- Mooz Limbs in India as well - which already happens in those parts of India where they fall below 70% ?

India was partitioned on the basis of religion and religion only ! And Partition was not demanded by people of the 4 Indian origin faiths.

It was demanded by those who didn’t want to stay in the same Country where non-Mooz limbs (or Na-Pak people) live.

Pak means pure and the very name Pakistan means - land of the pure. So quite obviously the ones who demanded Pakistan did not consider India and Indians as pure. Neither do they do so today.

Moreover those who demanded Pakistan - executed their demands on the dead bodies of lakhs of non- mooz limbs.

So after they got approximately 1/3 rd of our land , how and why on earth should we take responsibility of whatever good or bad happens to them ? That too when they continue persecuting people of our faith in their Country !?

On his part , by bringing in the Citizenship Amendment Bill again , the Indian PM and the Indian People Party have again staked political capital. It is now a test of wisdom and brotherhood of the 4 Indian origin faith people in India whether they take a stand against persecution or they give prominence to the self-destructive sack you lar libtard jhollachhap delusions.

We should see who opposes the bill citing sack you larizam as a pretext. This would tell us who is against Indian origin faiths. Not that everyone who would support be necessarily on our side.

India is a natural home and also the only homeland to people from all the 4 Indian origin faiths. And anyone opposing the citizenship amendment bill giving the pretext that it divides people on religious basis and contradicts the idea of India is simply an anti-India fraud who doesn’t realise the difference between the persecuted and the persecutors !

Foundation stone of the Mumbai monorail 🚝 project was laid in 2009, by Congressi CM Ashok Chavan.
Original deadline for the entire line was May 2011.
But it missed the deadline by nearly 8 long years and the entire line has been opened only this February !
What opened in February 2014 from Chembur to Wadala was only a part of this line.

10 years for the construction of a 19.54 km long 🚝 line point out to faulty planning and execution of the project.

Road infrastructure projects have similar story. Those who were born in early 1990s would remember “growing up” seeing the Jogeshwari-Vikhroli Link Road being built. Even Santacruz-Chembur Link Road got delayed multiple times.

Eastern freeway was the only road project completed on time under Congress rule. Actually , it wasn’t completed on time. It missed the original deadline by 1 year.

But , as track record shows, if under congress rule ,a project misses a deadline only by 1 year , it is as good as completed on time.

2 other projects were also implemented on time under Congress regime and I would definitely credit them for it.

Those 2 projects are -

1) procurement of new rakes for Mumbai local trains. This was indeed speedy and timely. 4 rakes were delivered to Mumbai every month by Integral Coach factory in Chennai - which was a record which not even the best transport manufacturers had achieved at that time.

2)upgradation of existing Mumbai airport 🛫-ranging from building T 2 to upgrading runways.

So I would give credits to congress for doing these 3 good things.

But sadly for 2 projects finished on time , there are dozens of others which didn’t.

The Kurla -Thane (16 km distance) 5th and 6th lines , took 13 long years to finish. 13 years for 16 km double track. These lines have segregated trains bound for Nahur Container yard and Lokmanya Tilak Terminus from Thane onwards , ensuring that fast locals run fast from Thane to Mumbai CSMT atleast.

Now consider Mumbai metro 🚉 Line 1 (Versova-Ghatkopar) Foundation stone was laid in February 2006 by then PM -Congressi Manmohan Singh.
The line length is only 10.81 km.

Yet the line took 8 years for construction and opened only in June 2014 while original deadline was July 2011, which was revised and skipped several times. Again pointing to faulty planning and execution of the project.
8 years for a 10.81 km line is just too much.

1 reason for delay was that permission for constructing bridge over western railway took 2 years !! Now think : why did the permission take over 2 years when PM himself knew about the project !???

The original metro 🚉 plan of MMRDA in 2005 had envisaged that by 2016, Mumbai would have 4 metro lines
1)Colaba-Bandra-Charkop-Dahisar
2)Bandra-Kurla-Mankhurd
3)Versova-Andheri-Ghatkopar
4)Ghatkopar-Mulund

But other than Versova-Ghatkopar , construction of other metro lines DID NOT EVEN START !!!

What kind of governance was this ?? When 10 people die on Mumbai tracks daily , shouldn’t a project like Mumbai metro 🚉 been given highest priority !?? Isn’t managing to construct barely 11 kms in 8 long years a big joke with Mumbaikars ?

Now , come to present day.

The BJP led Central and State Governments which took power in 2014, have managed to start construction of more than 6 metro 🚉lines in Mumbai simultaneously.

These are
Line 7- Dahisar-Andheri east (further expanded upto Bhayandar from Dahisar side and Airport from Andheri side)
Line 2A- Dahisar-D.N. Nagar
Line 2B- D.N. Nagar-Bandra-Mankhurd
Line 3-Colaba-Bandra-Seepz
Line 4-Wadala-Ghatkopar-Mulund-Thane-Kasarvadavali (to be extended to Gaimukh)
Line 6-Swami Samarth Nagar-Jogeshwari-Powai-Vikhroli

The combined length of these projects is well above 100 kms !!

Anyone travelling around Mumbai would know how speedy the construction is !
All these lines have their deadlines from 2020 -2022 and these projects are largely on time to meet the deadlines.
If at all , some genuine problem does arise , May miss deadline once, but unlikely to be more than that.

Now Sewri- Nhava Sheva Mumbai trans-harbour Link was also talked about repeatedly for years and years - but it’s construction began only and only in 2018.

Even Bandra-Versova sea link construction started only in 2018.

Another project of utmost importance - Navi Mumbai International Airport , also has a similar story !!

Also , lot of escalators and lifts have been installed at railway stations in and around Mumbai, hugely benefitting senior citizens and divyang passengers/commuters.

Most importantly , platform heights have been raised at several platforms. I very well remember , how during congress days , I despite being 6 feet 3 inches tall , had to literally jump to alight even on platforms as important as platform 4 of Dadar Western Railway which sees thousands of commuters alighting from Churchgate fasts. Such was the vertical gap. You can only imagine the plight of shorter people.

A thing as basic as raising heights of platforms was super slow way back then and dozens of commuters getting injured daily did not seem to open the eyes of railways.

Now again going in history,
the Shivsena-BJP Government from 1995-1999 got 55 flyovers constructed in Mumbai and around. They had also prepared the plan for Bandra-Worli sealink.
Original deadline for the sea link completion was 2002.

But in 1999, Maharashtra chose Congress-NCP and repeated it in 2004. Result is that Sealink which was to be completed by 2002, got completed by 2010 !! 8 year delay.

This year also , there are elections to the Central and State Governments.

Let me tell very clearly , if at all BJP is not elected at both Centre and State , then the story of Bandra-Worli sealink would get repeated for all under construction infrastructure projects in Mumbai - because congress is most shameless and most corrupt party, it would make excuses to stall the construction till it gets it’s cut.

I fully agree that currently Mumbai is messed up due to multiple metro-construction work.

But who is to be blamed for this mess ???

In cricket, if opening batsmen take lot of balls to score runs , then to compensate for that , the middle order batsmen have to score runs really fast.

So today , if BJP led governments have to construct 6 metro lines simultaneously, it is only and only because the previous 3 congress governments from 1999-2014 built only 1 metro line in 8 years (2006-2014), causing loss of lot of time for Mumbai. Blame for this mess lies entirely on congress.

But imagine if same Congress-NCP return to power even in state government , like I mentioned story of Bandra-Worli sealink , construction of the 6 metro lines which have scheduled completion from 2020-2022, would continue well into the 2020s to be completed only by 2027-29.

Wouldn’t this scenario be dreadful ??

People accuse me of being biased towards BJP , but fact is - knowing these things and having a good memory makes me automatically tilt towards BJP.

Conclusion is simple- if you want Mumbai upgraded on time - vote back both Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis back to power, ensure that you , your family and friends vote for them irrespective of your local BJP/Shivsena candidate.

- else be prepared for perpetuation of the current inconvenience for 10 more years instead of 2-3.

And if you agree with what I said , then please share this post as much as possible. Copy and paste the entire text and send it to atleast 50 people on whatsapp , especially those who stay in Mumbai.

Telling and reminding people of these things is extremely necessary since public memory is very short.

Suddenly since yesterday , all media channels including presstitutes and all jhollachhap intellectuals are pretending that they care for IAF Wing Commander #Abhinandan 👨🏽✈️as he is in Pakistan 🇵🇰 captivity !???

Country 🇮🇳 should not fall for their bluff and crocodile tears ! I’ll explain why.

MIG 21 aircraft 🛩 , 1 of which Abhinandan flew ,were inducted in Indian Air Force from 1960s to 1980s. Were given life extensions in 1990s to continue in service till 2017.
Thus , by 2017 , they were to be replaced.

Now , it is a known fact that MIG 21 aircraft are “flying coffins.”

Since 1970 more than 170 Indian pilots 👨🏽✈️👨🏻✈️👨🏿✈️👨🏽✈️ and 40 civilians 👨🏻🏭👩🎤👨🏽🦳👩🏼🦰 have been killed in MiG-21 accidents. At least 14 MiG-21s 🛩 have crashed between 2010 and 2013 alone. Over half of the 840 aircraft built between 1966 and 1984 were lost to crashes.

These MIG aircraft were developed by USSR.
But why were they purchased and then built under license by India 🇮🇳 without ensuring adequate safety measures !??

Is more than 400 aircraft crashing and 170+ pilots killed a joke !!??? We have clearly lost more fighter pilots to these MIG 21 crashes than we have lost to any war.

Now people will ask , why are these MIG 21s still being flown when they are flying coffins ! Well , in airforce , minimum number of squadrons (a squadron is a group of fighter planes) have to be maintained. The sanctioned squadron strength is around 44 while the current strength is only 32 !! If MiG 21s are withdrawn immediately , squadron strength will further come down to mid 20s.

Thus , these flying coffins cannot be withdrawn unless they are replaced.

Now consider , that there are various categories of fighter aircrafts . And aircraft’s belonging to 1 category cannot replace that of another category. Thus Rafales or Sukhois cannot replace MiG 21s.

Now , project for developing a Light Combat aircraft , today known as Tejas , is on since 1980s. This is the aircraft to replace the ageing MIGs ! Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL) is building it.

But such was the lethargy of HAL and previous governments ,most of whom were of Congress , that the first Tejas aircraft was inducted into IAF only in 2018 -
four years after gandhi dynasty was removed and Modi government took over and started kicking butts of HAL. Though that typical PSU sluggishness has so strong roots that it still continues !

It is only under Modi that Tejas production is picking up now and this 16 more Tejas will be delivered by HAL this year.

Now coming to the reason why presstitutes and jhollachhap intellectuals are only shedding crocodile tears-

Indira Gandhi is regarded as a great Prime Minister and an ‘iron lady’ by many. Barring three years from 1977-1980 , she was PM from 1966-1984.

I would ask

1) what kind of greatness is this when more than 400 aircrafts built during her regime crash !?? What kind of iron lady achieves greater than 50% crash rate ???

2) During the decade long rule of Sonia-Manmohan , when India had the money as well as capability , why wasn’t HAL pushed to develop and deliver Tejas faster !?? Why did it continue to skip all the deadlines !??

No presstitute or jhollachhap ever asked this question. In fact , all of them have sucked up to the Gandhi dynasty and propagated the narrative of indira being Iron lady and strong PM and now have similar “admiration” for Sonia Gandhi and Priyanka Gandhi Vadra.

Now , consider this - while Gandhi family compromised with lives of pilots during their rule as I have already explained ,

now when they are out of government ,pappu rahul gandhi is daily chanting lies on Rafale deal !
The facts are out in public domain and all media know about it, then why are they tolerating pappu’s lies !???

Fact is , that Rafale will enhance capabilities of IAF and is a top class fighter today and by opposing it pappu rahul gandhi is only trying to add to his family’s record of destroying IAF !

Most of you must have scene videos of pappu spitting different figures each time over Rafale deal, contradicting his own figures.

But do you ever see any top media journalist other than from India TV or Zee News or Republic Tv call out pappu’s bluff !?? These 3 channels do and they are accused of being Modi’s channels.

Wing commander Abhinandan 👨🏽✈️ is with pakistan today because of the same old story of MiG 21 engine failure !

With a flying coffin like MiG 21, he brought down a much modern fighter like F 16. But then his engine failed and when he ejected he landed up with pakistanis. Imagine what he could have done if he had Tejas.

So today , if all those presstitute journalists and jhollachhap intellectuals are suddenly displaying love and concern for an IAF pilot , do not fall for their bluff and smokescreen.

They are hands in glove with gandhi dynasty and have the blood of more than 170 innocent pilots and 40 civilians in their hands just like the family has.

Reason they are displaying this love is because they want Modi govt to compromise with Pakistan using return of pilot Abhinandan 👨🏽✈️ as an excuse. Even Pakistan is now blackmailing us for dialogue in exchange for Abhinandan. They are using the same pressure tactics which they used during Kandahar hijack ✈️ in 1999 against Vajpayee govt.

If after knowing all this , if anyone/you still votes/vote for congress or it’s official allies (ncp, dmk, etc) or mahagathbandhan (unofficial congress allies) because they/you like the local congress/ally/mahagathbandhan candidate or to teach Modi a lesson or holiday on election day without voting ...

... then remember that his/her/your tears would also be crocodile tears and when on coming to power , congress and mahagathbandhan cancel Rafale deal and continue to purchase third class aircrafts for our Air Force leading to further deaths of pilots , he/she/you will also have some drops of the blood of those dead pilots on your hands.
Only alternative is voting for the party/PM under whose reign first Tejas was inducted.

Recently , media is doing 24/7 outrage on 2 rape cases - Kathua rape case in J&K and Unnao Rape case in UP.

In Kathua rape case , an 8 year old girl Asifa was raped inside a temple by someone who allegedly calls himself a Hindu (quite possible he may not be ,so let enquiries ascsertain this).

But the narrative that the fraud presstitute media , and fraud jhollachaap intellectuals , including Bollytards are creating is that a Muslim girl was raped inside a Temple and hence entire India , especially Hindus should be ashamed of themselves.

Now tell me what nonsense is this.
Here religion of victim is being raised as well as that of rapist.
A cartoon is also being shared where Sita tells Shri Ram “I am happy that Ravan kidnapped me and not your bhakts.”

Those retards sharing this don’t know that Ravan was a rapist- he had raped his nephew Nalkuber’s wife before - and he couldn’t touch Sita only because NalKuber had cursed him that his head would burst if he tries to rape any other woman.”

Now all Hindus/Ram Bhakts are being shamed
because a (Muslim) girl was raped in a Temple. What about dozens of Ram Bhakts/Hindus protecting women and girls ??
At that time no presstitute aur Fraud jhollachaap intellectual or Bollytard would credit Hinduism or Shri Ram for it ? Because the bastards are hypocrites of the first order.

It is this hypocrisy is making me doubt that the person who raped may also turn out to be a fake Hindu working on ISI orders.

Now in another rape case in Sasaram, Bihar , a minor Hindu girl was raped by a Muslim.
Before that , this year , there have been cases of illegally imported Muslims raping local Hindu girls in Assam.

But I did not find any Bollywood asshole or fraud jhollachaap intellectual saying ALLAH BHAKTS RAPED A HINDU GIRL.
This , despite the cases of this happening usually far exceed the Asifa type cases.

In the Unnao Case , the person accused is a BJP MLA and this is what is driving the outrage. Hence considering the seriousness of the matter , CM Yogi Adityanath had initially formed an SIT for the case but then handed it over to the Country’s top investigative agency CBI.

But see the reactions of presstitutes in this case. Even before the top agencies complete their enquiries , they are 24/7 shaming that MLA just because he was accused of rape.

If agencies find that that he and raped , he should get the strictest punishment according to law.

But tellme what good does this media trial does. Just because someone is accused of rape is a politician, and belongs to the party that media hates, does this mean media shoud run the trial themselves ???

If by any chance , it turns out that the entire case was fake , the media would only make a headline out of it and escape.

That BJP MLA has been detained by CBI. CM Yogi even refused to meet him and will only meet if he is proven not guilty.

But u wont see any presstitute or jholaachaap crediting CM Yogi for daring to go for a top level enquiry against his own MLA ??? No !

Also , the calls for removal of UP DGP over this case only add to my suspicion of ulterior motives - because under the current DGP , UP police is doing sn excellent job of restoring law and order !

Moron Rahul Gandhi held a midnight March yesterday ONLY n ONLY for Asifa !!!
He dis not find the Hindu victim of Sasaram , Bihar or Assam worthy of getting justice.

And then Congress wants people to believe that if is not an anti-Hindu party !!!!!

Always demand the toughest legal punishment for rapist if found guilty, but DO NOT FALL FOR THE NONSENSE THAT PRESSTITUTES , BOLLYMORONS AND FAKE JHOLLACHAAPS ARE PERPETRATING. They want you to (Wrongly) believe that India is a Country of Rapists, a rape capital, and that the Devi worshipping Hindus are the chief reasons for this. All these reasons are false.

I am suspecting a hand of Breaking India forces in these sudden focus and outrage over rape cases. The timing only makes my suspicion more confirmatory !

In terms of humiliation that Indians felt , this event is comparable perhaps only to Bhopal Gas Tragedy or India's loss in 1962 war to China.

We salute our 18 martyrs [16 policemen and 2 NSG commandos] and each n every policeman ,fireman , NSG commando and staff of Hotels as also the announcer at CST station and each and every person who fought terrorists. Our Blood was shed by terrorists from Pakistan , but they alone are not to be blamed for this tragedy.

By all accounts,26/11 was an avoidable tragedy. Having read a book on this attack , I know that Enough intelligence was available indicating terrorists are probably gonna attack Mumbai through the sea route.

But the passing the ball attitude of various agencies like Navy ,Coast Guard , IB , RAW combined with useless and irresponsible home ministers at both center and state ensured that terrorists cross multi layer security and killed people in Mumbai. The kind of pathetic and useless Home Ministers Congress and its allies have given us at the Center as well as Maharashtra state , had ensured that there was little or absolutely no co-ordination between different agencies like RAW ,IB , Indian Navy and Coast Guard.

The home minister of India made the NSG plane wait for 45 minutes in Delhi just so that he cud carry his 'disaster tourism' -thereby wasting critical minutes. The home minister of Maharashtra gave a statement saying "bade bade shehron mei aisi choti choti baatein hoti rehti hai". This statement was like sprinkling salt on the wounds.

Contrast this with former Home Minister Lal Krishna Advani 's attitude. He used to take daily reports from intelligence , state police chiefs and each and every agency responsible for India's security. And used to ensure proper measures are taken on intelligence reports which ensured that India suffered far less terrorists attacks during his time , if not 0 !!

This terrorist attack was a tight slap on the face of India - on the face of every Indian.

What is more astonishing is the fact that terrorists had worn saffron band on their hands. This, along with the lax attitude of the government makes it very clear that 26/11 #MumbaiAttacks were not just a mere terror attack but a grand conspiracy to defame and ban Hindu Nationalist organizations like RSS and VHP.

Had Shaheed Tukaram Omble not caught Kasab alive , losing his own life in the process, then the entire blame of 26/11 would have conviniently fallen on the non existent Hindu terrorists. It was because of his bravery of capturing Kasab alive that Kasab testified against Pakistan and Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT), else both would have been given a clean chit by congress led UPA govt.

To add to this , some traitor journalists were showing live footage of the attacks on television ,thereby exposing the positions of commandos , police and fire brigade on television , which was seen by handlers of terrorists in Pakistan and POK n reported to Mumbai terrorists. A useless Maharashtra government did not have a common-sense of not allowing journalists close to the scene of the attacks - n those journalists for the sake of TRPs ,sold and Nation.

What was more painful is that Mumbaikars elected the same traitors in both the Lok Sabha and Vidhan Sabha elections of 2009.

Mumbai had suffered blasts on 7 local trains on 11th july 2006. After that had proper measures been taken n had proper laws been brought , then 26/11 would have never happened !! Even after 26/11 had proper measures been taken by cong govt n Maharashtra state government , then no further terrorist attacks shud have taken place in India !! But as fate has it , Maharashtra itself has suffered 3 terrorist attacks , 2 in Pune [2010,2012] and 1 in Mumbai [triple blasts of 2011]. India had reached such a stage under congress government where even towns invisible on India's map like Malegaon [MH] and Bodhgaya [Bihar] have witnessed terrorist attacks.

That's because Congressi India n Congressi Maharashtra never wanted to fight terrorism the way it shud be fought. But with the hope that a Congress Mukt Bharat n a Congress Mukt Maharashtra will fight terrorism the way it should be , we once again pay tributes to the 18 martyrs who lost their lives in those 60 hours. Some lost their lives in real acts of bravery ,while some were fed as fodder to terrorists by a corrupt regime in Maharashtra that did not even ensure genuine bullet proof jackets n proper weapons for a police force of a city like Mumbai. But all died on d call of duty.

Along with the martyrs , we also salute each and every policemen n Marcos n NSG commandos who fought the terrorists. We salute the brave hotel staff who went beyond the call of duties. And also THE FIRE BRIGADE OFFICIALS WHO WITHOUT ANY PROTECTION STOOD AS A SHIELD BETWEEN THE HOTELS N THE GUESTS so that the reluctant and frightened guests would come to the ladder ! In remembering the martyrs ,we must not forget them who threw their lives at Yamraj's doorstep in d call of duty yet survived.

शहीदों की चिताओं पर हम लगायेंगे मेला । देश पर मिटने सालों के हम बनेंगे निशान । जय हिंद की सेना !!

Today ,18 September 2016, has been a terrible day for us Indians. We woke up to the terrible news of 17 of our soldiers being martyred in a terrorist attack in Uri, Kashmir. It feels immensely painful. And It is impossible to express the pain accurately in words. No amount of the saddest words can depict the grief which patriotic Indians go through during such events. Every such terrorist strike brings back the painful memories of 26/11 and that terrible feeling of being slapped hard which I had felt way back then.

No amount of words can thank our soldiers and police who dedicate their entire lives so that we can live safely. I salute the soldiers martyred and injured in today's attack.

I got this terrible news from twitter. But along with this painful news ,there is one more thing which bothers me. This thing is the low levels of understanding on the issue of internal security of the Country, which many people have - especially those people who classify themselves as Right Wingers.

This lack of understanding gets evident from the tweets and comments I observed on twitter on the Uri attack throughout the day. Some of the common tweets/comments I observed include

1) "Where is 56 inches?"
2) "It is time for action and not just condemn"
3) "Destroy Pakistan with missiles !!!"
4) "We Need to be like Israel"

Let us find if these comments are meaningful or just a frenzied outburst.

I have been observing terrorism in India since the past 8 years. 1 of the problems with terrorism in India is that there have been so many attacks in the past decade and yet we have very poor memory of terrorist strikes. And hence I would like the readers to go back in time., because unless we do that , we would never be able to make accurate judgements.

Let us go back to the 2005-2013 period. I attach the wikipedia list of terrorist incidents in India here. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_terrorist_incidents_in_India This list contains most, if not all terrorist strikes in the recent past ,especially the last decade and a half. The 2005-2013 was a very bloody phase of Indian history when it comes to terrorism.

This is because earlier terrorism in India had some geographical limits - it was limited to Northeast ,followed by Punjab, Kashmir and Mumbai. But during the 2005-2013 period , we saw that terrorism penetrated every region of the Country. Beginning from the 2005 Delhi bomb blasts to the 2013 Patna blasts [Hunkaar rally blast] , pakistan sponsored terrorism struck every nook and corner of India. Forget metros , even smaller cities like Varanasi were bombed not once , but thrice !!! From Jaipur to Guwahati to Bengaluru to Pune to Hyderabad - many cities were bombed ,some more than once.

The primary reason for this was UPA government's disastrous policies with respect to National security to appease its "minority" special religion vote bank. This point itself could be the subject of a separate blog post. One of the first things which UPA government did in 2004 on coming to power is to repeal the Prevention Of Terrorism Act [POTA] under the pretext of it being anti-minority. The hands of the intelligence agencies were tied up. The Ishrat Jahaan Fiasco is very well known and one can easily judge the impact it would have had on the morale of intelligence agencies. The UPA govt did nothing to fence and seal the India-Bangladesh border which was one of the favourite routes of terrorists. 25 terrorists [including the handler of the Pathankot attack] were released for FREE as a "GOODWILL" gesture by UPA government in 2010. These are just some of the points of the disastrous UPA policy. It's policy led to a large number of terrorists infiltrating India , many of them as sleeper cells.

Now go back in time to 2014. Against this messy background in India , a new and deadlier terrorist group ,the ISIS was gaining power in West Asia. After taking charge as PM in 2014, one of the first things which Modi did is to give a free hand to intelligence agencies and anti-terrorism agencies like NIA to take down on terrorists and their activities. Three facts bear testimony to this fact.

1)The appointment of Ajit Doval as NSA.
2)The large number of terrorist rackets and cells busted during the 2014-2016 period and terrorists arrested.
3)Barring a single bomb blast in Bengaluru , NO ATTACK HAS TAKEN PLACE OUTSIDE KASHMIR,PUNJAB AND NORTHEAST.

This third fact must be read again and again , especially by those who asked "Where is 56 inches?" in the aftermath of Uri attack today. Because considering the mess that the UPA government had left India in , especially with respect to security , the 3rd fact mentioned here would not have been possible without a 56 inch effort. Even in Punjab, 1 of the 2 terrorist strikes failed in its objective due to timely action taken by government on intelligence inputs.

Also once again considering the mess that the UPA government had left the security of the Nation with 2 years ago, the large number of sleeper cells, there will be some days especially in the initial years of Modi government when no matter how hard the security agencies work ,they will fail to stop a terrorist strike - and today was one such unfortunate day.

The main reason for revisiting the recent past and the deeds of UPA is that IF WE DO NOT REMEMBER THE PAST THAT WAS INHERITED TWO YEARS AGO and DO NOT OBSERVE HOW THINGS HAVE IMPROVED [fact 3] SINCE THEN , WE WOULD NOT BE ABLE TO MAKE THE RIGHT JUDGEMENT on the success/failure of government and "56 inches".

If at all there is a government who can fight terrorism in India , it is the 1 led by Narendra Modi.

Now coming down to the 2nd and 3rd comments - "It is time for action and not just condemn" and "Destroy Pakistan with missiles"

The Uri attack was not done directly by pakistan army , but by its proxy terrorists. Pakistan is fighting a proxy war against India in the form of terrorism.

Now the question is , can we punish Pakistan for its proxy war by waging a real war against it ,[comment 3-"Destroy Pakistan with missiles"] . Let me give a clear answer to it and then explain it. The answer - whether one likes it or not is a loud ,clear NO.

The reason is simple - Pakistan today , has atleast a 100 nuclear weapons. Now India has more nuclear weapons than Pakistan. If Pakistan uses its nuclear weapons on India and if India retaliates then there would be no Pakistan on this earth. But things are not this simple.

Because as a matter of fact ,Pakistan is controlled by its army and ISI , both of which do not care about the ordinary people of Pakistan. This attitude has made Pakistan a self destroying Nation.
If at all war happens ,then the army men and ISI ruling pakistan would not hesitate to use Nuclear weapons against India ,as they do not really care what will happen to Pakistan if India retaliates.

Now consider a scenario ,where Pakistan fires 100 of its 100 nuclear weapons against India. Even if 20 nuclear weapons hit their target ,the loss on Indian side would not be in thousands or lakhs but in crores of lives. Considering the mess in which UPA govt had left India two years ago, OUR MISSILE DEFENCE SYSTEM IS STILL NOT IMPENETRABLE ENOUGH to stop all the 100 incoming missiles. Hence out of 100 incoming missiles,20 are more than likely to hit us.

Imagine an India without 20 of its cities. LOSING CRORES OF PEOPLE AND DESTROYING THE ECONOMY TO AVENGE THE MURDER OF A FEW 100s DOES NOT MAKE ANY SENSE FROM MILITARY AS WELL AS ECONOMIC POINT OF VIEW,

In its 10 years ,the UPA destroyed India's defence preparedness as well as Indian economy. Also , an attacked Pakistan is more than likely to be helped by China - and we are in no position to fight both at the same time. Even if other Countries like US ,UK and France join us , the casualties on our side would still be in crores. Also , even if China does not help Pakistan initially , an India weakened by deadly nuclear strikes from Pakistan is more likely to be attacked by China. These considerations make it further difficult to fight a direct war against pakistan.

Hence , Pakistan's proxy war cannot be fought back with a direct war. It will have to be fought with a proxy war. This war has to be fought by intelligence agencies like RAW, Once again , previous governments - Morarji Desai govt, I.K. Gujral govt and UPA govt had severely destroyed or hampered the Capabilities of RAW in Pakistan. One can google and know how former PM Morarji Desai revealed the details of RAW's operations to infiltrate Pakistan's nuclear facilities on phone to ZIa-Ul-Haq , or how I.K. ,Gujral ended all RAW operations in Pakistan,

Dismantling an existing network is easy , but rebuilding such a network in an enemy Country and making it capable enough of surgical strikes is something which takes years - mere 2 years are not enough. Thus ,while the retaliatory operations will be covert , they will also require time.

Now coming to the last comment - "We Need to be like Israel" . Well the fact is ,that Israel does not have nuclear armed neighbours like Pakistan and China - with 100 and 400+ nuclear warheads. None of Israel's neighbours and enemies possess nuclear weapons. Also, Israel never had self-destructive governments like those of Morarji Desai, I.K. Gujral or the UPA government of Manmohan Singh.

Hence ,Israel can freely attack its non nuclear armed enemies while India cannot. The time for India to behave like Israel was when Pakistan had no nuclear weapons. But at that time we failed miserably. Nehru failed us in 1947 war, 1965 war was a stalemate, Indira failed us in 1971,Morarji in 1978 and then Pakistan was nuclear by 1990s.

Thus , the only solution we have is busting and destroying the terrorist cells and networks in our Country and at the same time rebuilding the capabilities of our intelligence agencies for surgical strikes. While the former is clearly going on , we can hope that the latter must be going on as well.

Finally, I would like to mention the "frenzied stupidity" mentioned in the title of this post is making illogical comments in anger like the once mentioned in this post. Getting angry and outraging is different and even I am angry at this attack.

Now I end this post by once again saluting the martyrs injured soldiers of Uri. What I do to fight terrorism from my side is something which all of us can do. Every time,I have a look beneath my seat after sitting in a train or bus. Jai Hind.
<span style="background-color: white; color: #4e2800; font-family: "arial" , "tahoma" , "helvetica" , "freesans" , sans-serif; font-size: 13px; line-height: 18.2px;"> In the 26 months since that historic victory in the 2014 LS polls , one thing that has always followed PM Narendra Modi is a continous grilling of his activities- by a large section of the mainstream media of India, as well as by a section of the ordinary people. This grilling is probably unprecedented in Indian political history. No other Prime Minister has generated so much interest into his activities as Narendra Modi has - be it his schemes , foreign visits or simply anything.

Is it simply because of more media coverage that Narendra Modi has received compared to previous PMs ?? But then a question arises that what exactly has caused this increased media coverage - since media coverage is guided by TRP ?? Is this beneficial or harmful for PM Narendra Modi ?? Let us try to explore !

It is one of the most important thinking errors that has hampered human psyche. It's understanding is crucial to exploring the answers to the above questions.

<span style="background-color: white; color: #4e2800; font-family: "arial" , "tahoma" , "helvetica" , "freesans" , sans-serif; font-size: 13px; line-height: 18.2px;"> Let us recall an example which many of us must have heard in our school days. Take 3 buckets, fill the first bucket with lukewarm water ,second bucket with hot water and the third bucket with ice water. Dip the right hand in the ice water and left hand in hot water for one minute , then dip both the hands in the lukewarm water. The lukewarm water feels cold to the left hand but piping hot to the right hand.

Without thecontrast effect,<span style="background-color: white; color: #4e2800; font-family: "arial" , "tahoma" , "helvetica" , "freesans" , sans-serif; font-size: 13px; line-height: 18.2px;"> the water in the first bucket would feel to both hands what it actually is - lukewarm.

We judge something to be beautiful, if we have some other thing which is ugly to compare it to. Similarly , we judge something to be expensive if we have a cheaper alternative. We have difficulty in making absolute judgements, that is when we don't have the option to compare. The contrast effect can thus, ruin the rationality of our judgements.
<span style="background-color: white; color: #4e2800; font-family: "arial" , "tahoma" , "helvetica" , "freesans" , sans-serif; font-size: 13px; line-height: 18.2px;"> This effect plays a huge role in politics. Because politicians are always compared to each other. A politician who is an average performer may seem good when compared to a total non-performer. Similarly , even the above average performance of a politician may seem unsatisfactory because a past politician , or another contemporary politician has performed excellent.

<span style="background-color: white; color: #4e2800; font-family: "arial" , "tahoma" , "helvetica" , "freesans" , sans-serif; font-size: 13px; line-height: 18.2px;"> Now let us go back in time to October 2001 - when Narendra Modi became Gujarat CM. The Kutch earthquake had rattled the state, Keshubhai Patel had failed to perform as CM ,and the BJP was headed for a defeat in the next assembly elections.

<span style="background-color: white; color: #4e2800; font-family: "arial" , "tahoma" , "helvetica" , "freesans" , sans-serif; font-size: 13px; line-height: 18.2px;"> But political opponents of BJP executed the Godhra Kand, leading to the 2002 Gujarat riots. The post riots atmosphere however helped BJP win 2/3rds majority in December 2002 Gujarat Assembly elections.

<span style="background-color: white; color: #4e2800; font-family: "arial" , "tahoma" , "helvetica" , "freesans" , sans-serif; font-size: 13px; line-height: 18.2px;"> Now comes the contrast effect<span style="background-color: white; color: #4e2800; font-family: "arial" , "tahoma" , "helvetica" , "freesans" , sans-serif; font-size: 13px; line-height: 18.2px;"> into play. Ideally , the expectations from a politician should be rationally high.<span style="background-color: white; color: #4e2800; font-family: "arial" , "tahoma" , "helvetica" , "freesans" , sans-serif; font-size: 13px; line-height: 18.2px;"> But due to mediocrity or below average characteristic of the performance of the past chief ministers, the expectations from CM Narendra Modi were not very high. As Modi has himself said on frequent occasions , people used to request to ensure electricity atleast during the dinner hours. Without the contrast effect ,<span style="background-color: white; color: #4e2800; font-family: "arial" , "tahoma" , "helvetica" , "freesans" , sans-serif; font-size: 13px; line-height: 18.2px;"> the expectations would have been of 24/7 power throughout the year , which they eventually got.

<span style="background-color: white; color: #4e2800; font-family: "arial" , "tahoma" , "helvetica" , "freesans" , sans-serif; font-size: 13px; line-height: 18.2px;"> Besides the 24/7 power, there were several other good socio-economic changes which were done by the Narendra Modi government in its 2002-2007 tenure. Discussing them would require several other blogs, and would lead us too far from our topic.

<span style="background-color: white; color: #4e2800; font-family: "arial" , "tahoma" , "helvetica" , "freesans" , sans-serif; font-size: 13px; line-height: 18.2px;"> Thus, while the expectations of people were low, Narendra Modi government performed beyond those expectations and the contrast effect <span style="background-color: white; color: #4e2800; font-family: "arial" , "tahoma" , "helvetica" , "freesans" , sans-serif; font-size: 13px; line-height: 18.2px;">worked highly in favour of CM Narendra Modi in Gujarat, since his performance seemed very good when compared to the past CMs. The few shortcomings of the 2002-2007 tenure were highly overlooked. The contrast effect<span style="background-color: white; color: #4e2800; font-family: "arial" , "tahoma" , "helvetica" , "freesans" , sans-serif; font-size: 13px; line-height: 18.2px;"> along with largely all round performance ensured victories in 2007 and 2012 Gujarat assembly elections as well.

<span style="background-color: white; color: #4e2800; font-family: "arial" , "tahoma" , "helvetica" , "freesans" , sans-serif; font-size: 13px; line-height: 18.2px;"> Now let us come forward to 2013.-2014. The marketing of the achievements of his Gujarat government and of his promises if he becomes the Prime Minister , combined with the multiple failures of the UPA government at the Centre and the Congress led governments in the states, led to a historic victory of 336 seats.
<span style="background-color: white; color: #4e2800; font-family: "arial" , "tahoma" , "helvetica" , "freesans" , sans-serif; font-size: 13px; line-height: 18.2px;"> 1) Where his work is contrasted with the work of the previous UPA government , under which circumstances , Narendra Modi will benefit even if he fulfills only half of his promises.

<span style="background-color: white; color: #4e2800; font-family: "arial" , "tahoma" , "helvetica" , "freesans" , sans-serif; font-size: 13px; line-height: 18.2px;"> 2) Where his work is contrasted with his own performance as CM and the expectations he created. In other words , PM Narendra Modi will be contrasted against PM candidate Narendra Modi and CM Narendra Modi. This contrast effect<span style="background-color: white; color: #4e2800; font-family: "arial" , "tahoma" , "helvetica" , "freesans" , sans-serif; font-size: 13px; line-height: 18.2px;"> is unlikely to benefit him. Because , some of the expectations are of undefineable nature - like 'acche din' (good days). <span style="background-color: white; color: #4e2800; font-family: "arial" , "tahoma" , "helvetica" , "freesans" , sans-serif; font-size: 13px; line-height: 18.2px;"> The term 'acche din'<span style="background-color: white; color: #4e2800; font-family: "arial" , "tahoma" , "helvetica" , "freesans" , sans-serif; font-size: 13px; line-height: 18.2px;"> itself is dependent on comparison and thus contrast effect<span style="background-color: white; color: #4e2800; font-family: "arial" , "tahoma" , "helvetica" , "freesans" , sans-serif; font-size: 13px; line-height: 18.2px;">comes into play here.
<span style="background-color: white; color: #4e2800; font-family: "arial" , "tahoma" , "helvetica" , "freesans" , sans-serif; font-size: 13px; line-height: 18.2px;">Gujarat was resurrected by Narendra Modi over a period of 12 and a half years, a period which he got due to the favourable contrast effects <span style="background-color: white; color: #4e2800; font-family: "arial" , "tahoma" , "helvetica" , "freesans" , sans-serif; font-size: 13px; line-height: 18.2px;">as already mentioned above, while here he gets only 5 years initially. It is difficult to perform the magic of those 12 and a half years at state level in 5 years at National level.

This contrast effect is also deadly since most people , including many of his supporters ,do not know how the so called Gujarat model was realised and how things will be different at the National level. Knowing what was achieved in Gujarat is one thing and knowing how it was achieved [The Gujarat Model] Also since empathizing with a man in a position of the Prime Minister at a time like 2014, would require combined knowledge of subjects like politics, economics, history and psychology , which few people have individually, making it even more difficult for them to empathize with PM Narendra Modi.

This effect is also primarily the reason behind the grilling mentioned at the beginning of this post.

Since the 2 contrast effects are of opposite nature ie. opposite in direction, they tend to cancel each other out. What Narendra Modi needs to do is ensure that the magnitude of the first contrast effect is more than that of the second. This can be done only and only through fulfilling maximum promises and proper communication.

The various opinion polls conducted in the previous few months thankfully seem to show that the magnitude of the first effect is much more than the second, but this needs to be maintained.

The supporters of Narendra Modi can become a great tool of communication for this. They need to develop their own own empathizing skills and then contrast the work of Narendra Modi government at the Centre with its predecessor in every field - defence ,agriculture, industry ,etc. More in Defence and Internal Security because they receive least attention in the media but shake up the soul and conscience of ordinary Indians like nothing else.

To conclude, the overall contrast effect seems to be positive for now , and given the pace of development in many fields, including electorally crucial ones like power, combined with the master communicator that Narendra Modi is, the contrast effect is likely to be more favourable in 2019. While it is true that his communication is not in full power now, those who have observed Narendra Modi in Gujarat would know that he silently does his work for the first 3-4 years and communicates with public with full power in the last 1 or 2 years of his term, when he gets into the election mode.

The constant phase of state asseembly elections has however prevented the communicator in him from hibernating , and when his and the party's communication comes out in full power in 2018, combined with the achievements, we will likely have a highly favourable contrast effect in time for the next Lok Sabha elections in 2019.

In an interview on Aap Ki Adalat in 2009, the then Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi had said "Pakistan ko usi ki bhasha mei jawaab dena chahiye aur yeh 'love letter' likhna band karna chahiye". 5 years after saying this 'What Indians want to hear' line ,he became the Prime Minister !! Since then , he has been alleged to have taken U Turn on what he said in 2009. Has he indeed, or has he not ?? How easy is it to answer this question ? Lets look at few things.

First and foremost , it is 'comparatively' easier to judge foreign policy with respect to any Country where there is only one Central authority in the concerned Country- it's Central government. Because , in Countries with a single Central authority, the talks are only with that authority. While the content of the talks may not be immediately made public, the results [joint statements, treaties and pacts, etc.] are usually there for the public to see. For instance , the results of talks with countries like Japan or U.S. can be known from the stands they take with respect to India or the deals that they sign with India. Because here , the Central governments usually have the authority to take those stands and sign those treaties , with the legislative arms of those governments [Parliaments or similar bodies] ratifying the treaties.

But the same is not the case with Pakistan. Here ,the civilian government lacks the authority to take decisions. The real authority lies with the army ! Hence ,if you want to get things done ,army is the authority to talk to. Usually , these talks, if they happen, will be unofficial and secret in Nature, and hence ,the public will never know about them, unless someone involved with the talks writes a book on them maybe a generation or generations later.

Second , we need to take notice of one unusual phenomenon. That phenomenon is - NO CEASEFIRE VIOLATION HAS TAKEN PLACE SINCE NOVEMBER 2,2015. From that date , till July 7,2016 [the date of writing this post] , it is 8 months and 5 days.
How is this possible , if one sees how bloody the 2013-2015 period was ???
Is it just a coincidence , or is it an achievement of some secret talks with Pakistan army ??
It is difficult to find answers to this questions , hence it is equally difficult to judge Pakistan policy of Modi government.

Another question ,though may sound silly to mind is - Could Pakistan PM Nawaz Sharif be exercising some authority on ,or rather some deal with army as army chief Gen. Raheel Sharif needs his consent for extension of tenure ?? If true, then does Nawaz Sharif have some role in the absence of ceasefire violations over the past 8 months ??

Once again, these questions will be difficult to answer for now.

Third , there has been a regime change in the civilian government - in 2009, when Modi gave the answer mentioned at the beginning of the blog , Asif Ali Zardari was the pakistan President and Yousaf Raza Gilani was the Prime Minister. Now these chairs are occupied by Mamnoon Hussain and Nawaz Sharif respectively.

One cannot deny the fact that Nawaz Sharif hates the Pakistan Army. Afterall , it was Pakistan army led by Gen. Pervez Musharraf who outsted Nawaz Sharif from power in 1999. Thus , Nawaz Sharif has his interests in weakening the grip of Pakistan army.
Could this be the reason behind Modi's outreach and building of personal rapport with Nawaz Sharif ?
Could Modi be trying to strengthen Nawaz Sharif by supporting him ??
Again difficult answers to find out.

Even though these questions maybe funny, but the ceasefire maintenance for 8 months is impossible to overlook.

Fourth , it is true that stoppage of ceasefire violation doesnt mean stoppage of cross border terrorism. But earlier , ceasefire was violated to give cover to the infiltrating militants. Now ,atleast one menace of the two has stopped/has been stopped - atleast for now.

A question which the reader may ask is , would I have raised the same questions if it was Manmohan Singh instead of Narendra Modi ?

Well , since most of terrorism in India has its source in Pakistan , Indian govt's policies on Pakistan and terrorism can seldom be separated.
The Narendra Modi government has been giving free hand to our various security agencies to destroy the networks of terrorist groups in India. Also it has not done anything that would harm the cause of security agencies of India. The opposite seems to be true in case of Manmohan Singh government.

This I am saying over years of reading on how and why terrorist attacks succeed in India. I have read a very nicely written book on the 26/11 terrorist strikes. With my readings , I can conclude that Manmohan Singh did not do everything it required to deal with terrorism.

Consider this : 1 of the first things which Manmohan government did in 2004 was to remove the Prevention Of Terrorism Act [POTA] ,under the pretext of it being "anti-minority" , which it was not.
Also , in 2010 , Manmohan government released 25 Pakistani terrorists for FREE as a "GOODWILL GESTURE". These terrorists included the mastermind of the recent Pathankot attack. The Ishrat Jahan affidavit fiasco is well known now.

Also , its a fact that the Indian army and BSF had orders of 'restricted' retaliation in case of ceasefire violations by Pakistan under Manmohan government , which have now been changed to 'massive' retaliation under Modi government. The jawans are now free to retaliate as and when they consider necessary.

Thus , when Manmohan government was DELIBERATELY taking all the wrong domestic steps to deal with terrorism , it is UNLIKELY that it will try to do something in Pakistan which is beneficial to us.

Hence , the questions I asked above do not even arise in case of Manmohan Singh government talking to Pakistan .

Now coming back to the topic , like I said earlier , a lot of questions remain unanswered , and will remain unanswered or a long period of time. What will be the result of all this activity , one does not know. But the ceasefire along the border and LOC points out that there is much more going on than what appears to the naked eye.

This only means that PM Narendra Modi's Pakistan Policy is difficult to judge as lots of things are unclear. It will take time for things to get clear, providing us the opportunity to judge the policy.

Late night on Wednesday ,most fans of Indian Cricket were celebrating India's victory over Bangladesh. But In Vikaspuri area of West Delhi , a heinous crime took place.

A 40 year old dentist - Dr. Pankaj Narang, was playing cricket with his 8 year old son after the match was over. The ball hit 2 men who were passing by on a bike. The doctor apologised for it. But the biker duo went back and came back with a group of 15 people- armed with BATS, IRON RODS and HOCKEY STICKS. Then those people attacked the doctor with these weapons - and also assaulted everyone who came to the dentist's rescue , critically injuring his brother in law. Dr. Pankaj DIED !!!

A dentist had to pay with his life for hitting a passing biker with a ball. What is more infuriating as well as agonising is how most of our mainstream media is twisting the entire story. Most of our "mainstream" media is projecting the case as that of a 'Road Rage'.

There was no accident here. Just 2 bikers hit by a ball. There was no damage to the bike. Also ,Dr. Pankaj Narang readily apologised. So where does the case of 'Road Rage' arise here ? Road rage takes place when in an accident , there is damage to a vehicle and the person who caused the accident refuses to acknowledge his fault and/or pay for the damage. Here there was no damage and Dr. Pankaj readily apologised. Then why is the media twisting this as a case of road rage ?

This is a case of mob violence. Now , when we think of mob violence ,we automatically think of Dadri case - where a muslim named Akhlaaq was killed because he "supposedly had beef in his fridge". In this case as well , media twisted facts. Media did not tell us that the FIR of that case did not even mention beef in it. The mob lynched Akhlaaq because of cattle smuggling and not due to beef. Also , UP is ruled by SP - which is an enemy of BJP. So the question of UP police twisting facts to remove beef from the FIR doesnt arise as SP wouldnt spare an opportunity to target BJP.

Anyways ,there was huge outrage in media as well as Adarsh Liberal brigade over this case. Most mainstream reports mentioned the religion of the victim as well as the perpetrators of the Dadri crime. They openly said that "Hindu mob lynched a Muslim man" . And tried to blame Modi for it, despite the fact that Law n Order is always under State government.

Now compare the responses of media and adarsh liberals in these 2 cases. In the West Delhi case ,the victim is a Hindu , while most of the 15 people in the mob are muslims. But not a single media journalist would say it openly that "A Muslim mob lynches a Hindu dentist in Delhi." Afterall , bringing a mob of 15 people on being hit by a ball is definitely not something which a Hindu would do. Anyways 1 can say that the media should not bring religion into this - but then doesnt the same logic apply to Dadri case as well ?? Why was religion mentioned there ?

Also , some of the famous journalists as well as liberals have not expressed any agony or outrage over this case on twitter. Unlike Dadri when many of them were breaking bangles. The question then arises is - whom is the media trying to protect with its differential reporting and what is it trying to project ?

Now lets talk about some politicians as well ! When Dadri happened ,there was a line outside the victim's house , of politicians trying to milk some votes out of the muslim vote bank. But , its been 2 days , and not a single 1 of those who visited Akhlaaq has visited Dr Pankaj's family. Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal had time to meet Akhlaaq's family in Dadri , but does not have any time to visit the house of Dr. Pankaj - despite the fact that Dadri was in UP while Vikaspuri is in Delhi where he is CM. None of the others which visited Dadri have bothered to visit Dr Pankaj's house as only muslims constitute a votebank in India while the Hindu vote bank is too divided to consider as a single entity.

Thankfully , the Delhi Police is under BJP Central government and not under the likes of Kejriwal - and hence , few arrests have taken place and manhunt is on for the rest. Or else, the principles of India's pseudo-secularism would have made Kejriwal stop Delhi Police to take any action as most of the accused belong to the muslim community.

This drives us to the conclusion that the outrage of media and adarsh liberals over a crime is inversely proportional to the victim's religion - where the outrage is maximum in case of Muslim and Christian victims and decreases with increase in Hinduism.

Dear Media Pundits and Adarsh Liberals – PM Modi not duty bound to emulate your hypocritical ‘Dadri dance’!

A lot has been said in the media about the “Dadri” incident. For nearly 3-4 weeks now, it seems that our mainstream media has been giving “very high” coverage to this incident – as if nothing else and nothing good is happening in this country. Why I used the words “very high” will be evident if u read my previous article :

http://indiaemancipated.blogspot.in/2015/10/dear-media-dont-discriminate-on.html

On observing the various news “debates”, “opinions” and “editorials” in mainstream media, it seems that it wants us to believe that i) ‘Dadri’ is the only “communal” incident that has taken place in India in the past 17 months; ii) ‘Dadri’ is the only threat to the ‘Idea Of India’; iii) A misdeed by a few people will wash away all the good work and good will done by the Central Government under Prime Minister Modi and iv)We should feel ashamed to be an Indian now.

On reading my previous article [link already posted], it would be clear that Dadri is not the only communal incident in the country, there have been many more – and there is clear evidence of mainstream media discriminating and also twisting stories while giving coverage to such incidents.

An incident in which the victims are Hindus [majority community] [most of the cases], never get covered by the media. Prima Facie from the coverage of Dadri incident appears that mainstream media does care about lives of “minorities” only. But then its attitude and coverage of the Bhagalpur riots report breaks this illusion. In Bhagalpur riots of 1989, nearly 1000 people died, of which 900 were “minorities”. After years of investigation, a report was finally tabled in Bihar Legislative Assembly this year, which clearly blames Congress party and police responsible for the riots. Bihar was under congress rule in 1989. But how much coverage was given to this report? It barely made it to the headlines. There were absolutely no high decibel debates on it and no questions were asked to any Congress leaders !

Thus, from media coverage, one is forced to conclude that i)the lives and conditions of Hindus victimised in communal violence have no value for them; ii) the lives of minorities in Congress ruled states also have no value for them; and iii) only the lives of minorities in non-congress ruled states have value for them.

Prime Ministers – different attitudes:

With such a hypocritical and biased attitude, we see some so called “intellectuals” and “political pundits” demand a statement from the PM over it. Ok, firstly let us talk some Indian Constitution. The Constitution clearly demarcates the responsibilities of the Central and the State governments. Law and order is the responsibility of the State and not the Central Government [except in UTs].In the case of UP, it is thus the responsibility of Akhilesh Yadav government and not the Modi government.

After the Akhilesh Yadav government took power in 2012, law and order in UP has deteriorated. There have been several communal incidents due to the appeasement policy followed by the UP government. But did any media person ever grill Akhilesh or his father?? No! Rather than questioning the person who is constitutionally responsible for law and order, they want the Prime Minister to speak.

Ok, for a few moments, let us assume that the PM owes a “moral” if not constitutional responsibility to speak up. Now let us take up another case – In 2012, there was communal violence in Assam, in which nearly 3% of the state's population was displaced. There was a Congress state government and a congress Central government. Most Indians today, would not know that Manmohan Singh was a Rajya Sabha MP from Assam – because hardly any media covered this fact. Now if according to mainstream media,if Modi is supposed to speak up on the Dadri incident from UP, despite the state not having a government of his party, then according to their own unconstitutional logic, wasn’t Manmohan also supposed to speak up on Assam violence, as the state was ruled by his own party? But mainstreammedia never bothered to demand answers from Manmohan Singh on it, or from CM Tarun Gogoi. Thus, the “moral” duties of the Prime Minister according to them seem to be highly relative, i.e. they depend upon the party to which the Prime Minister belongs.

Then there is a class of “intellectuals” and “adarsh liberals”who say that there is no difference between Modi and Manmohan as Modi is also silent like Manmohan. Well, dear ‘unconstitutional’ intellectuals, Manmohan was silent, both in words and actions on all the wrongdoings taking place for which the Central government bears responsibility [2g Spectrum and Coal Block auctions, defence scams, etc]. He took no strict action to prevent scams. While Modi is not silent on anything for which the Central Government bears responsibility. It seems in your dislike for Modi, you have forgotten the constitution as well. Or probably, you never read it!

Thus, the hypocrisies of mainstream media and adarsh liberals, make their ranting over Dadri look like a choreographed puppet dance. The PM and the Central government under him is doing everything to give us a bright economic future, with fruitful results as investments are coming in and schemes are showing success. And at this time, the adarsh liberals and mainstream media seem to be hell bent on denting the efforts. Some of them opine “India will not become a superpower, if such incidents happen”. Well dear liberals, stupidity and disrespect of law by a few people will not dent the economic future of a Country. Hate crimes happen in many developed countries, including the superpower US – but they did not prevent it from becoming a superpower. But your puppet dance surely make us feel that you want to damage India’s prospects.

So dear adarsh liberals and mainstream media – kindly stop your puppet Dadri dance now. And if you can’t, then just remember – the PM is not duty bound to emulate it.

in mainstream media.
When Hindus are attacked almost every
year in rural West Bengal for celebrating Durga Pooja, again by people of special
religion , no1 bothers in mainstream media.
When a train of Hindu pilgrims is stopped by people of special religion in
Shamli,UP and stones are pelted on injuring several
pilgrims , once again no one bothers in the media.
100s of such atrocities by special people on
Hindus, in Uttar Pradesh and West Bengal especially, go unnoticed by paid media

But when a person from minority religion is
targeted by a mob in Dadri,UP, entire media goes mad over it !

Now its not that I support what that mob did
, no1 should support it. But the attitude of media regarding such incidents is
sickening .
It seems that it is the religion of
the victim that decides how much coverage will media give to the incident and
how much outrage will "Adarsh liberals" do over it.

It clearly seems from the attitude of
mainstream media , that lives and problems of Hindus have no value for them .
If paid media indeed bothers about secularism , then how can the value of life
of a Hindu and a “minority” religion person be different ? When the media can
atleast "show" some respect for the life of a “minority” religion
person , why can’t it show the same value for the lives of Hindus ??

If the pain of the family of Dadri's victim
can be showed in the media ,then why the near total TV blackout [only 1 news
channel covered it] of the family of the 15 year old girl - who was kidnapped
and held captive for >75 days , during which she was gangraped and converted
!

Also , even a 10th std child would know that
law and order is entirely a state subject . But how come no 1 in media ever
questions UP CM Akhilesh Yadav and his father mulayam over the total
deterioration of the law and order in the state ???

Also ,how the hell do retards even blame
this incident on Modi , when law n order is clearly a state subject. Neither
the PM , nor the CM of that state is -personally responsible for the individual
behaviour of people. But the CM bears responsibility for the law and order
situation of that state , and if not 1 or 2 , but hundreds of communal riots
are taking place , then the CM is surely answerable !!

From 2012 to May 2014 also , dozens of
communal riots took place in UP , was Modi PM then ?? why was media silent then
?? Didnt lives of minorities matter before Modi was PM ?? Yes I am saying
minority because expecting mainstream media to value the lives of majority is
futile !
Just like the communal incidents , its the
biased and shameless attitude of the media that is proving to be destructive
for the country. Discrimination on the basis of religion by mainstream media
will only lead to dissatisfaction and anger in the minds of people , especially
Hindus !!

It is said that some books are to be tasted, some to be swallowed, while some to be chewed and digested. Today I am writing a review of a book titled ‘ Himalayan Blunder – The Curtain Raiser to the Sino-Indian war of 1962’, which according to me is a book which should be chewed and digested.

Himalayan Blunder – The Curtain Raiser to the Sino-Indian war of 1962, is a book regarding the reasons why India lost the 1962 war to China very terribly. It is written by Brigadier J.P. Dalvi, who had worked in the army headquarters in 1950s, and before and during the 1962 war, was at two of the most prominent battlefronts of the war – serving atLadakh and then later at Western Arunachal Pradesh[known as NEFA(NorthEast Frontier Agency) at that time] which makes him highly qualified to write this book. In the book, he gives a firsthand account of the war. Because working in the Army Headquarters gave him an insider’s view of the decay of our defence preparedness, and then serving at two fronts as a Brigadier gave him a firsthand view of it’s consequences for our army ,and ultimately for India. He was also taken prisoner by the chinese for 7 months.

Himalayan Blunder is not an ordinary book. Because the subject it covers is not ordinary, and neither is the writer. . We come across dozens of books in our life, but only a few can shake the reader’s conscience and soul like this book does.

The first part of the book, deals with our negligence, when we had enough time to correct ourselves. Every disaster gives warnings, but you should have the will to heed to those warnings. Our FIRST and BIGGEST warning with respect to China came in 1950, when Tibet, an INDEPENDENT COUNTRY, which was a large one, was attacked and annexed by China. Before 1950,only the Northern part of Aksai Chin in Ladakh shared border with China, while the rest of today’s Indo-China border was Indo-Tibetan border. Thus,Tibet was a buffer zone, between India and China, which was now lost. Sardar Patel wrote a warning letter to PM Nehru on this issue, which was then ignored by him.
This part of the book deals with India’s position regarding China in the 1950s, of India’s international support to China based on Nehru’s false hopes of creating an Asian axis and how, India wasted crucial years of the 1950s by doing very little to modernize its army. Nehru then refused to accept China as a threat, and thus you can guess the seriousness of Indian government in dealing with it. It was only when two border incidents took place between China and India in 1959,that India began half-hearted and highly inadequate effort to deal with the Chinese threat. This part also discusses the ‘forward policy’ which was forced upon the army, and was a significant reason of India’s defeat.

In the second part, the book moves forward to the early 1960s, and covers India’s half-hearted and incomplete defence of the border with China, and the positions of the two armies in early 1962. The account given by the author is so good that your eyes and mind are actually transported to that era and you start living that era.

In the third, fourth and fifth part, the book deals with the most significant incident just before full-fledged conflict started. China launched a full scale invasion on 20th October 1962, but it intruded into India on 8th September 1962,near Tawang in western Arunachal Pradesh. The author of this book was at the very front where this intrusion happened, and this part forms the core of the book. How India handled this situation is discussed here. He clearly showed how the total disconnect of the then Mr. Prime Minister, top army officers and other decision takers in New Delhi with the situation on the ground lead to a series of wrong decisions one after the other and put Indian soldiers on the front in such a terrible mess and their lives in danger. Such descriptionwould tear apart the readers’ heart upon reading. Many soldiers died due to these wrong decisions and games being played by the upper brass of the army and top political leaders of the Country. I refrain from naming the persons responsible for this mess here as the readers will find them upon reading the book. This book ends with full-fledged Chinese invasion on 20th October 1962 and the death of several soldiers and capture of the author and few others.

And finally, the last part of the book, deals with all the reasons behind all the wrong decisions ie. what caused the people in power at that time to take all those disastrous decisions. This is the best thing about the author’s character. He could have easily ended by just narrating the reasons and blaming the people who took them, but he did not. Also, the disastrous consequences of this war for India, and how India took its lessons from this war are discussed here.

Overall, I would say this book is a must read for all Indians who can read English or Kannada – the two languages the book is available in also more because this book also deals with the role citizens have to play in the defence of their country, of their attitude towards their armed forces and their political leaders.

To sum up, this book gives mixed feelings to a patriot’s heart. You feel immense respect for those soldiers, who despite innumerable difficulties including outdated weaponry, improper clothes, without proper rations and absence of supporting infrastructure like roads, fought against a well-equipped army of the chinese. Your heart empathizes and cries for those soldiers and on the other hand, you feel anger towards those people responsible for the mess. But most importantly, you will feel a strong resolve within yourself, that WHAT HAPPENED TO INDIAN ARMY AND INDIA BETWEEN 1950 AND 1962 MUST NEVER BE ALLOWED TO HAPPEN AGAIN.

The consciousness of ordinary citizens in this regard, is the most important contribution of this book. Like the author says in the beginning of the book – “1962 was a National failure of which every Indian is guilty. It was a Himalayan Blunder at all levels.”

Why the conspiracy isn't what it appears to be !?

The Vyapam murders ie. murders related and claimed to be related to the Vyapam scam , seem to be shaking our Country !! Rightly so , because it is rare for so many people to disappear in a scam , that too one like Vyapam which is not so big in financial terms , ie. in terms of loss to the exchequer But the way things are taking shape does raise certain doubts that these murders seem to be a big conspiracy - not against the victims alone , but also against a performing state government , undoubtedly amongst India's best !! Here's Why....

1) This scam is not something which has happened recently only. It is something which has been happening right since the tenure of Arjun Singh as Madhya Pradesh CM. , and continued right into Digvijay Singh's tenure as well . The first case was reported in 1995 , and the first FIR was in 2000.
Thus ,this clearly signifies Congress involvement in the scam as well . But yet , the media is portraying as if congress isnt involved in this scam.

2) The first investigations were set up , after the local audit found financial and administrative irregularities in the Madhya Pradesh Professional Examination Board [MPPEB] , in 2007 - during tenure of Shivraj SIngh Chauhan as CM. it was only then ,that a committee was set up to probe the irregularities ! It was this committee that in its report said that several candidates had passed exams by impersonation.

3) The investigations were than passed on to special task force [STF], leading to a total of 200 arrests , including that of Laxmikant Sharma , who was former education minister of MP ,and from BJP. On November 5, 2014, Madhya Pradesh High Court rejected the Congress leader Digvijay Singh's petition for CBI probe and instead ordered setting up of a special investigation team (SIT) to act as a watchdog for the court. The SIT is a 3-member team chaired by Justice Chandresh Bhushan, a retired Judge of the Madhya Pradesh High Court.

Point to be noted here is , that , it is being projected in the media that the current government of Shivraj Singh Chauhan is not going to the CBI . Whereas the truth is that Madhya Pradesh High Court rejected CBI enquiry. Why is then lie being spread by media ??? Also , how is congress again demanding CBI enquiry from the government even after HC rejected it ??

4) As mentioned earlier , the scam has been happening since the tenure of Arjun Singh , and thus , the beneficiaries of this scam , that is the undeserving candidates who got admissions n postings through malpractises in exams , is huge. The number is in thousands - as the tenure of the scam is atleast 2 decades ! Making it difficult for police to give them round the clock protection , and thus making them easy targets !!

5) Out of nearly 47 deaths [out of 1000s of witnesses/benficiaries] that have taken place , none of the deaths have taken place in police or judicial custody . That is none of the 200 people arrested have died . All those who have died were killed outside prison. Also , a couple of deaths here have taken place outside Madhya Pradesh. It raises doubt that if indeed state's CM was involved , then how come the arrested people are safe in police custody , considering that India has a history of custodial deaths ??

6) Is it a mere co-incidence that so many people who have died recently , met Digvijay Singh just before their deaths ?? Take for instance - the Aaj Tak reporter Akshay Singh was interviewing victims , but before that , he was with Digvijay Singh ?? What does it indicate ?

7) Like I said before , it was the Madhya Pradesh HC , and not Shivraj Government , which rejected CBI enquiry. In such a case , HC's permission is required for CBI enquiry to take place , which the government has sought again , despite the SIT formed by HC monitoring the enquiries by STF. Why are then half-truths and blatant lies being showed in the media ??

8) Another Fact is that Digvijay Singh presented fake evidence in court. How come no media persons grill him on it ?? Also , how come a person in whose tenure the Vyapam Scam was at its peak, even bothered to produce evidence before court with regards to this scam ??

9) Is it a mere co-incidence that the number of murders has stepped up ever since Sonia Gandhi and her family's name started surfing up in Lalitgate controversies ?? There were murders before , but how come now we see daily murders ? Is it a concpiracy by congress and its puppet media to divert attention and thus protect their mistress ??

It is a fact that state Government of Madhya Pradesh has performed and Shivraj is credited for removing MP from 'Bimaru' states category. Practically , after their 3rd consecutive defeat in the state in 2013, has little issues to raise . Congress has a track record of stooping to the lowest levels to try to bring down BJP governments ! It was congress led mob [leader was from congress] which burnt down a coach of the Sabarmati express at Godhra in 2002 ,killing 59 people ! Considering this history , as well as considering the 9 POINTS MENTIONED ABOVE, and also considering the lies and half truths being perpetrated by media , it seems that congress has once again stooped to that level , to target both Shivraj and ultimately Modi .

Right since the Modi government has been sworn in ,there have been hit-jobs by the media ! We had the rape of a nun ,churches under attack ,muslims being denied job , and God knows what all - which all was blamed on Modi/BJP/RSS , n all of which proved to be false allegations ! And now , this , seems to be the mother of all hit jobs , which is way beyond just words and shouting in studios !

Its disgusting to see such third class level politics being played , people suddenly being killed everyday . And even more disappointing to know , that considering the beneficiaries, thus ultimately witnesses in this case are in thousands ,making police protection to everyone difficult, it might well be a few more deaths before this nonsense ends !!

2015 has dawned in ! And India is now looking forward to celebrate ' Pravasi Bharatiya Divas ' , like it does every January !! The Pravasi Bharatiya Divas falls on January 9 , celebrating Gandhiji's return to India with arrival in Mumbai !! It is observed to acknowledge the role of Non Residential Indians in the development of India !! Also , Pravasi Bharatiya Samman award are handed out on this day by the President , to NRIs who have contributed exceptionally to their fields !! With this day , we have atleast 3 days associated with Gandhiji which are observed in India !! We have his birthday 2nd october observed across India as Gandhi Jayanti n International Non-Violence Day , his death anniversary 30th January is observed as Martyr's day , and his return to India as Pravasi Bharatiya Divas !!

While , 1 does not Deny Gandhiji's role in freedom struggle !! It was he who United the Country and made freedom struggle a National Movement !! One may not agree with many of his decision which proved bad for India , but no one can deny this fact !! But , isnt celebrating so many days in his memory , when there were several other freedom fighters who played very important roles in the freedom struggle ??? When we already have a National Holiday on his birthday n already celebrate Gandhi Jayanti , the ideal martyr's day would perhaps , be , 23rd March [ Bhagat Singh , Rajguru and Sukhdev hanged ] !!

I wud like to share here , another idea which has struck my mind ! Why not celebrate the birthday of an NRI freedom fighter who played one of the most crucial , and yet highly undermined and unsung role in the freedom stuggle of India !! His name is usually either missing from Nehruvian history textbooks , or barely appears once to be noticed !! His name , as u may have already read in d title to this post , is Rash Behari Bose !! His birthdate is 25th May , 1886 !! I wud like to explain why his role is 1 of d most crucial in d freedom struggle of India , n thus ,why 25th May wud be an ideal Pravasi Bharatiya Divas !!

Rash Behari Bose was born in a village in Burdwan district ,present day West Bengal , went to school in Chandannagar and earned degrees in medical sciences as well as engineering from France and Germany !!
He was always interested in revolutionary activities , and took active participation in revolutionary activities following partition of Bengal ! He took part in the Alipore Bomb case , in protest against Partition of Bengal !! He attempted to assassinate the then viceroy of India , Lord Hardinge ,
which failed ! he then successfully evaded arrests n took further part in the Ghadar conspiracy , or Ghadar mutiny , which involved a pan-Indian mutiny in the British Indian army !! But this again failed due to British intelligence !! He then had to escape to Japan to evade arrest !! And here his where his crucial role as an NRI freedom fighter starts !!

He stayed with various pan-Asian groups in Japan , n became a citizen in 1923 ! He also married a local ! He started living there as a journalist and writer , during which he kept on developing important contacts ! Thus , when Second World War struck , he , along with A M Nair was instrumental in persuading the Japanese authorities to stand by Indian Nationalists and ultimately to officially support Indian Independence struggle abroad ! He established the ' Indian Independence League ' !! He moved a motion in d league to raise an army for Indian Independence !! During d league's second conference in Bangkok , he invited Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose to join d league and take command as its president !!

The Indian Prisoners of War captured by Japanese were then encouraged to join the Indian Independence League and become the soldiers of the ' Azad Hind Fauj ' !! He selected the flag and handed it over to Netaji !

Thus , it was due to his 30 years of efforts as an Indian freedom fighter in Japan , that the INA could be built and Netaji could lead it !! And It was INA under the Netaji that dealt the most crushing blow to the British Empire and shook its pillars [ Army , Navy and Airforce ] , and motivated the Indians in them to protest against British rule !! I would put another blog soon on the role of INA and Netaji and how the British decision to quit India was influenced by them and not by Gandhiji's Quit India !!

Thus , it would be ideal to celebrate May 25 as Pravasi Bharatiya Divas , celebrating the role of this unsung hero Rash Behari Bose , without whose role , perhaps freedom would have never come !!

India Emancipatedhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/04215961791300137089noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2832468274737218128.post-56312490616209084012014-12-13T15:06:00.001+05:302014-12-13T15:12:14.966+05:30How Social Media is building a stronger India !!

In our school days , our teachers try to imbibe patriotism in us !! We r made to stand up for National Anthem , National song , sometimes are made to attend 15th August and 26th January celebrations !! There are times when we have to write Essays n give speeches on birthdays of few top leaders !! We may be encouraged to do dramas on annual day !! Thus , in this manner , our schools try to imbibe patriotism within us right since childhood !!

But , then a question arises !! Is that enough ?? We find , that most of us , if not all, on growing up , get lost in the maze of life , and find little time n will to bother much about the country , beyond paying taxes, or voting in elections !! There r several reasons for that !! Some of us may grow up to join military , para military or police forces ! These forces do serve the country ! But they can give it only security ! The direction in which the country will head , is not determined by them , as their control itself is in the hands of ministers !!

The fact is , that many of us do have d will to serve d country in ways other than what the military/paramilitary forces do !! But what we lack is DIRECTION !! Thats where Social media comes into picture !! The following are some important ways in which social media is helping in building our Nation !!

1) Sharing Of Information - of present and past !!
a) Past

Another problem which arises is that of information !! A patriot , who does not learn from history , may repeat the same mistakes n this may be destructive for the country !! In Congressi India , its a known fact that our history textbooks r not what they should be like !! On the name of " (psuedo) secularism " , our glorious ancient Culture is denied to us !! For instance , we dont find Ramayan n Mahabharat being taught in history books which should be compulsory !! Also , several important facts n must know events of our history are distorted !! Take for instance , barbaric mughal kings n pre mughal muslim kings r glorified in our history , while several Indian heroes and kings do not find their proper place in textbooks !! Most Indians would not know much about historical figures like Chandragupta Maurya, Ashok , Chandragupta 1 ,Samudragupta , Chandragupta Vikramaditya , Harshvardhan , Rajendra Chola n many other figures !! We also dont knwo much about traitors like Jaichand n Shiladitya who betrayed India !! The fake Aryan Dravidian theory is also fed to us which is destructive for India !! Indian history textbooks were manupulated by British to suit their needs , ie to create generations of Indians who r totally detached from their glorious history , without a doubt the most glorious in the world , and can easily be subdued !!

In our bad times , our past achievements motivate us !! The same applies for our Country !! The difference is that an individual's bad times may last for a few years whgile a Country's bad times may span decades , or at times centuries !! But the opportunity to get motivated from our glorious past has been wrongly n largely denied to us by our academic history textbooks , as this would be detrimental to the interest of our rulers !! This also explains , y the history of Independent India is still not a part of history textbooks even 67 years after freedom , despite these 67 years being equally dramatic n significant !!

In the past , the only other sources of unbiased n untwisted history were books !! For instance , comics like Amar Chitra Katha !! But these were not always easily available !! Thats where the role of social media comes into picture !! The internet n social media changed this !! Several sites began appearing on history !! The Videos uploaded on Youtube made history far more varied n interesting than it ever was before !! Also , the concept of blogging and micro-blogging gave several knowledgeable persons an opportunity to share their knowledge of history to people !! Wikipedia gave stunning details of even the smallest events of our History !!

Thus , due to internet n social media , gone are the days that Indians had to be denied their glorious history !! Now , all u require is a mobile phone , a net pack , n a hungry brain !! In the wikipedia era , nothing can prevent u from knowing how Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose , with help from Rash Bihari Bose created INA , or why was Chandragupta Vikramaditya famous ,why India lost the 1962 war to China, or why the age of Guptas was actually the golden period n so on !! There is no dearth of people in Indian history to get inspired from , n this treasure is now available !!

b) Present

Another important contribution of social media is enhancing our knowledge of Current affairs !! As it is well known , most of our mainstream media is biased and paid !! We rarely get a true picture of the current affairs through Paid media !! Also , news channels do not show all the news at the same time !! In this era where time for watching news is scarce , it becomes even more difficult to get a clear picture of affairs around the country !! Thats where internet and social media come into picture !! The internet contains loads of news giving websites !! There are also specific websites which cover special categories of events !! Social media brings such websites to your doorstep !!

But the most important contribution of social media is the growth of citizen journalists !! Social media gives a platform to citizen journalists !! Now , anyone can become a journalist , report news about their area , n sometimes about their fields , n thus help spread the truth !! That is the reason y Mainstream media dreads social media !! Gone are their days of monopoly !! With spread of internet n growth of social media , their influence will reduce in the future !!

2) Unifying people with a common cause

Also , another problem is that it is not always easy to do things alone , most of us will need people to work with us , which we may not always find , in our neighbourhood !! Thats where social media helps !! People with a common cause , common ideological tilt , common passion to bring change , can unite on social media !! For instance , in the run-up to the 2014 Lok Sabha Elections , many people who would never have known each other came together , n campaigned unitedly , for the political parties they supported !! This was especially helpful for BJP , as Prime Minister Narendra Modi was able to capitualize on the enormous support he had on social media !! Thus , bringing a change in India , has become a step easier now , with the advent of social media !!

3) Direct connect between the leaders n their people

India is a vast country with diverse people , n equally diverse leaders !! The local factors n thus , the local leaders do play an important role in governing the Country !! The airtime of TV/Radio media is limited , and so is the space available on newspapers !! The regular activities of each n every leader , can thus cannot be covered by the mainstream media !! Also , the media usually presents the negative picture of Indian MPs n politicians !! The good work done by an MP/MLA is not usually shown due to the obsession of our media with sensationalizing news !! All National leaders do not get total coverage , so forget coverage of local leaders !! That's where social media comes to the helm !!

Now , even local political leaders can directly connect to folks across the country without the intermediate mainstream media medium !! Sitting in Mumbai , u can know about the work being done by a minister in new Delhi , or even an MP from Assam , if they use social media !! There's a reason y the Prime Minister advised his ministers to come on social media !! This direct connect between the leaders and the masses helps strengthen our democracy !!

A short history of my journey in social media

I joined social media in 2007 !! In those days , the social media was in its extreme infancy !! The most popular socializing tools on internet in those days were Orkut and Yahoo Messenger !! Both of which I joined upon insistence by a friend !! I created an Orkut Account in September 2007 , forgot its password , n created another 1 in December !! Those were the dayz of my 10th standard !! In those times , economy was doing great , the momentum generated by the previous NDA government was still going strong , and thus , a 10th Std Child had little need to worry about the Country , and as a consequence , little conciousness in this regard !!

But things were soon to change !! As orkutians might remember , unlike facebook , orkut had 'communities' instead of pages !! Orkut had an 'India' community , which had the nickname IC370 ,as that was the last term in its address [link] !! In Communities , we had forum , where anyone could start any topic for discussion n people would discuss on it , and we had polls !! Even in those days , all sorts of current affairs were discussed on Orkut , n thats where my political awakening started !! I realised that Indian history is not the way it has been taught to us , n the current affairs r not the way media is presenting it !! I was a daily attendee of the forums on IC370 , sometimes I myself would start a forum or a poll !!

As the days went by , I kept on realising the misdeeds that are being done n have been done by various political parties , n the upa government !! By the time , General elections of 2009 appeared , I had collected enough material in my head to tell anyone why congress should be voted out and BJP under Advani ji be brought in !! And when congress won the elections that year , I knew it pretty well , way back in 2009 , before many people had realised it , that this is a DOOM for India !! Even though none of the political leaders or journalists existed on Orkut , it had laid a solid foundation for the future of the changes brought by social media in India !!

2009 was the year when Orkut's influence starting to wane n Facebook started picking up !! And thus , I , who had already opened account in Facebook in April 2008 , also started to use it actively , on daily basis !! Facebook pages and groups , initially were not as interesting as Orkut communities , but nonetheless had the same effect over time !! Several politically knowledgeable people opened facebook pages , n started posting political statuses n articles over them ! thereby only increasing the political acumen of people !! It continues till this day !!

Twitter , which I joined in November 2009 , was a step further !! It introduced the concept of micro-blogging , which brought several celebrities , journalists , citizen journalists and other knowledgeable people from all fields of life to it !! Thus , allowing access to the opinions of a variety of people !! People now could simply write blogs , n post them on twitter , for their followers to read !! Twitter is all about following the right people , who can act as eye openers on various issues !! For instance , the blog mediacrooks is very popular on twitter and it helps u understand Indian mainstream media in and out !! Overtime, on social media , 1 can switch from the one being awakened , to the one who also awakens !! Also , usually , both the processes continue simultaneously !!

Thus ,social media has brought some great positive changes in the Country !! And it is growing stronger with time !!

Happy Birthday to India's honest prime minister Shree Lal Bahadur Shastri n to the person credited with putting 'life' into Indian Independence movement - Shri Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi !!

Lal Bahadur Shastri took over as prime minister in 1964 , India was at a very crucial stage as Jawaharlal nehru n Krishna menon along with general BM kaul had totally ruined n virtually destroyed Indian army ,due to which China gave a crushing blow to India in 1962 !! Had he and d respected defence minister Yashvantrao Chavan not taken charge n not redeemed the Indian army ,navy n airforce ,India wud have suffered a similar fate at the hands of pakistan in 1965 !! He not only led India to a successful defense against Pakistan , but also when India faced food shortage throughout 1960s ,he asked people to observe fasts on Monday which he himself also did ,and started the green revolution in India !! Had he not been killed ,he wud have led India to far greater heights n achievement s in 1970s than wat India achieved !! His successful murder was d greatest misfortune of Free India !!

As far as Gandhiji is concerned , I am a lot anti-Gandhi ,as several of his stupid decisions n his stubbornness n adamant nature as India's top leader brought a lot of misery n ruin to India ,especially Hindus during n after partition !! But 1 cannot deny the fact that he united d country for d first time into a single struggle against d British !!

But it is utterly wrong to believe that freedom was won with his 'nonviolent' satyagrahas !! The three pillars of British rule in India - Indian Army ,Navy and Airforce were inspired into rebellion against Britain not by Gandhiji but by Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose and the Indian National Army created by him in d most difficult circumstances !! The 3 movements started by Gandhiji , Non-Co-operation ,Civil Disobedience as well as quit India all failed to achieve anything !! Non cooperation was ruined by gandhiji himself in 1922 over just 1 single incident, civil disobedience ended in 1934 and quit India movement too had faded by 1944 !! Had non co-operation n civil disobedience movements not been withdrawn ,India might have been free in 1920s ot by 1930s n gandhiji wud have rightfully got maximum credit for it !! Had it not been for Netaji , the triggers for the British to quit India -Royal Indian Navy mutiny of 1946,Airforce rebellion n massive public outrage against unfair trials to arrested Indian National Army cadres ,India would not have been free in 1947 !!

Thus considering Gandhiji's contribution of uniting India into 1 movement and Lal Bahadur Shastri's contribution of fighting for freedom as well as leading Free India ,lets gift them a Clean India by not littering on streets n public places and not feeling ashamed of cleaning d areas outside our home !!

Those who feel Indians cant achieve cleanliness, have no knowledge of Ancient Indian history and heritage !! In ancient period ,Indian Cities were absolutely clean n tidy like western cities r today !! If we could achieve it then ,we can achieve it now as well !! What we require is d right leadership and right attitude for it !! While we have right leadership now,we need right attitude now !! Jai Hind

India Emancipatedhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/04215961791300137089noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2832468274737218128.post-39364718453151462692014-09-16T17:01:00.000+05:302014-09-16T17:08:13.666+05:30BJP's loss in bypolls !! Y 1 cannot blame the Modi factor or Yogi Adityanath and BJP's stand on Love Jihad !!

Just as I had expected , BJP faces loss in Vidhan Sabha by-elections across the country !! But there's no reason to blame Modi or Modi wave for it or even BJP's stance on Love-Jihad in it !! like some idiot media journalists are doing !! Here r the reasons why I had expected it and Y we cant blame it on Modi :

1) By-Elections do not have the crucial element of ' Government Formation ' like the main elections have !! They usually have no impact on government formation , and thus , the number of people coming out to vote is less than the main elections !! And it is an unwritten rule of Indian elections that BJP always wins when the voting percentage is high , and faces damage to the extent of losing the elections !!

Take for instance Mumbai had a voting percentage of 41% in 2009 and congress-ncp won !! In 2014 , it was 53 % and BJP-ShivSena won all seats !!

2)Many are blaming BJP taking a "stand" against Love Jihad for its debacle in UP !! Which is again false !! Uttar Pradesh has 4 way politics , that is , there are 4 major political parties !! BJP,BSP,SP and Congress !! Now , BSP , which won 0 seats in Lok Sabha Elections , decided not to contest any of the bypolls in UP !! Thus , UP polls became a 3 way fight !! 2 important voters of BSP , dalits n muslims , went to congress n sp respectively !! This ,combined with the factor that the voter turnout was low compared to LS ,helped them gain in UP , just like Lalu-Nitish alliance helped them gain against BJP in Bihar !!

3) as I already said , by-elections do not involve the crucial element of government formation n thus , these elections entirely depend upon local factors !! thus , there is no question of Modi factor playing a role here as Modi is not gonna form any government !!

4) as BJP was holding 26 out of 33 Vidhan Sabha seats that went for by-elections , it was difficult to retain 26 seats !! A seat won in the main election will always be difficult to retain for BJP in by polls !! Take for example , even in Vadodara LS seat , where BJP had won with a margin of 5,70,000 in May , it won with a margin of only 3,28,000 !! bekoz many people who voted in May to form Modi government didnt cum out to vote this time !!

As for the BJP , these results only and only mean that the party cannot afford to relax , as the old enemies like Lalu-Nitish , SP-BSP and in future maybe even Trinamool-CPM may unite and play games like the BSP played this time !! It doesnt mean that Modi-Wave has vanished or punctured !! However , there should not be any over-dependance on Modi Factor !!

Its surprising that how some paid media journalists , are deliberately misguiding people with all their nonsense analysis !! If an ordinary person like me can understand this ,so can they !! Their " Analysis " says that Modi wave is getting punctured n god knows wat !! These people had hailed Rahul Gandhi's leadership when congress had won 2009 elections !!! However , I wonder , y didnt they save the same thing on rahul gandhi ,which they r saying about Modi now , when congress lost 2014 elections so badly !! Within 100 days of takeover of Amit Shah as BJP chief , they are expecting BJP to sweep each and every election !! Any single loss wud mean that " Modi Wave is diminishing " !! These same media " experts " have never ever blamed any debacle of congress on sonia and rahul gandhi !!

The media " experts " say , BJP is nothing without Modi !!

But then , which party is ever powerful without its most popular leader ?? What is SP without Mulayam and family ?? What is BSP without Mayawati ?? What is congress without Gandhi family ?? infact , it was Indian National Congress that played a role in Independence movement !! When Indira Gandhi quit that party in 1969 and formed her own party Congress [R] which later came to b known as Congress [I] , and fought 1971 elections , she defeated the original Congress party , and her party became the present congress !! So When the party which helped bring independence itself lost elections when its most popular leader Indira quit , how does one single out and expect BJP as a party to be more powerful and popular than its most powerful n popular leaders ???? While BJP has atleast produced a wide range of popular leaders , most other parties have only produced popular families !! So how come only single out BJP ??

While its ironic how even many BJP supporters , fall for paid media shit despite knowing that they r paid , I wonder wat these media spokesperson will say about " Modi Wave " if we win Maharashtra and Haryana assemble elections ,which we have huge chances of winning !!

Hindus stopped from attending a pilgrimage in their own Country , by an "Indian" CM !!!

The Kousar Nag Yatra , which Hindu pilgrims go for in d state of Jammu and Kashmir , has been banned by the CM of J & K Omar Abdullah !!
This , under the pretext that too many yatras cause "harm" to "ecology" of Kashmir but the real reason is the separatists of Kashmir wont want it n wud create "problems" if the Yatra is continued !!

So rather than leading the fight against separatists , d CM Omar , who has full security , bows down before them , n allows them to dictate terms !!

Wonder Y there is no "harm to Ecology" when Kashmiri separatists like Gilani freely give hate speeches in Kashmir n dictate terms by frequently calling for "bandhs" ?? Y there is no "harm to Ecology" when flags supporting terrorist organization ISIS are openly waved in Srinagar ?? Y there is no "harm to Ecology" when stones r pelted at Kashmir Police ,CRPF or Indian army by people indoctrinated by pro-pakistan Kashmiri separatists ??

Jammu and Kashmir is a state where Hindus are in minority , and this is the treatment given to them by the separatists n J & K government alike !!

The CM has all available resources to arrange for all d requirements of yatra , including security !! The center is always ready to assist with help from paramilitary n military forces !! But No ,Vidhan Sabha Elections in Jammu and Kashmir are coming , and for the sake of a few 1000 muslim votes , he has purposely banned Hindus from attending a pilgrimage !!

Similar step-brotherly treatment ,if not ban , has been given to pilgrims attending Amarnath Yatra !!! It's one of the most popular pilgrimaged of India , and yet , there is a dearth of proper facilities required for the huge pilgrim influx !! There r still no proper roads , much of the route is still 'kutcha road' !! Every year , there r cases of pilgrims falling into valleys en-route to Amarnath but nothing is done !

Surprisingly , Indian mainstream media , which creates a berserk ruckus n shouting at times , always remains silent whenever Hindus r the target !!

When a Shiv Sena MP tried feeding a waiter third-class food over an argument without knowing that he was a muslim , n later regreted on knowing when he was a muslim , some mainstream media channels like Times Now tried to make it a ' Hindu-Muslim ' issue which it was nowhere close to , they said that a ' Muslim has been targetted in Ramzan by a communal Shiv Sena' !! Big platant lies !

But when a chief minister of a state , I repeat " CHIEF MINISTER " , bows down before Jihadis n separatists , none of the mainstream media has criticized him , or said that " Hindus have been targetted during Shravan " !!
Also , a few days ago , AMARNATH YATRA PILGRIMS WERE ATTACKED BY TERRORISTS WHO BURNT DOWN PILGRIM'S TENTS AND KITCHENS !!! But surprisingly , this did not make it to the news for most media channels and newspapers !!

The stupid 9 PM debates on most news channels probably have "rules" of distoring stories and over playing an incident when the victim's religion is islam but underplaying the incidents when the victims r Hindus or SIkhs or non-muslims !! WHAT A HYPOCRISY !!!

This combined hypocrisy of pseudo-secular politicians n paidmedia has to be stopped !! Else be prepared to let go of ur festivals n culture in future when these things happen in ur state !!! Jai Hind ! Jai Shri Ram ! Jai Shri Krishna !!

Was It Necessary ?? Is d Narendra Modi Govt wrong in doing it ? N y did BJP oppose it when in opposition ?

Rail Fare Hike - My Take On Was it Necessary ??
Was The Narendra Modi government wrong in doing it ?? N wat's d difference wen BJP opposed Rail-Fare hike wen it was in opposition n is BJP at fault now by increasing wen it is in power ??

Lets start with sum statistics first !!
As we know , the railways comprises of Passenger and Freight [Goods] sector
It has been the usual trend that Passenger Sector is always at loss n freight sector is at profit !! ANd the profits of freight sector do not match up with the losses of Passenger Sector thus always resulting in an overall net loss for Railways !!!

In 2001 , the loss in passenger sector was 4,500 crores
In 2004 , wen UPA govt's tenure started n Lalu took over as Railways minister, the loss in passenger sector was 8,000 crores !!

In such circumstances , Lalu started several loss making concepts like Garib Rath trains , Sampark Kranti trains etc .
Thus , by the end of Lalu's tenure in May 2009 , wen UPA 1 ended n UPA 2 took over , the loss in passenger sector had increased to rupees 13,000 crores , a rise of rupees 5,000 crores during Lalu's regime !!

Then came , Mamta Banerjee's 3 years from 2009-2012 !! She was d worst railway minister n during her tenure , d loss in passenger sector rose to around rupees 20,000-22,000 crore rupees !!

And then finally came 2 years of congress under pawan bansal n mallikarjun kharge , during which the loss in passenger sector rose to a whopping rupees 25-000 to 26-000 crore rupees !!!
The profit in freight sector during this was rupees 18,000 crores !! Thus , resulting in a net loss of rupees 8,000 crores to Indian railways !!

To understand y these losses r happening , one needs to understand the policies with which Railways have been run by the country by successive congress governments - which have resulted in miserable state of railways today !!

One important feature of UPA tenure was that passenger fares were increased only once in ten years by UPA govt !! All to fool people that it's a pro-people government !! Because during the same time , the rates for freight were increased almost EVERY YEAR !!!

Now , the point is that increase in rates of freight also effects the common man !! Infact , continous increase in freight rates effects the common man more adversely than a balanced increased of both passenger n freight rates !!!

For example , coal is carried by freight trains , increase in freight rates results in increase of coal transportation charges resulting in costlier electricity !! SImilarly prices of foodgrains increase wen there is a continous increase in freight rates n so on !!

Thus ,the continous increase in freight prices while not increasing passenger fares was far more disastrous by UPA govt than wat wud a balance increase in both freight n passenger fares wud have been !!

Now consider the state of railway projects !!
Just like many infrastructure projects , many railway projects suffer from improper planning n execution , more increasingly under UPA rule !! Improper planning leads to huge delays n increase in project costs !! Also , several railway projects have are purposely held up by Environment ministry in d name of environment and also by a slow, lazy n indifferent bureaucracy !! There r several examples of delayed projects !! This causes a huge drain on the railways resources n results in improper services by railways !!

Now consider ,the condition of railway staffs !! During Hampi express accident in 2012 , there was an article that the required no. of motormen [train drivers] in d country was 82,000 at dat time , but the no. of motormen was only 60,000 at dat time , a whopping shortage of 22,000 ! Also , out of these 60,000 , 5,000 were medically unfit at that time !! so , in effect , 60,000 motormen were working overtime to do the work of 82,000 motormen !! Overtime results in lack of sleep n a tired body !! When even driving a car without proper sleep can be dangerous , one can imagine how many lives r put at risk by allowing underslept motormen to drive trains !!

Similarly , there is a huge shortage of guards , engineers , cleaning workers n all other staff !! The number of trains were increased every year , but the issue of staff shortage was never properly addressed by the UPA govt !!

Now , its not that not recruiting the required staff saves the railways some money , rather , d existing staff have to be paid overtime which means that no money is saved !!

On the contrary , this staff shortage results in a huge compromise in the services of railways !! It compromises passenger safety !! Also , t results in more time in delivery of goods by freight , causing loss of railways' business to Road Transport Companies ! Also , in a country facing unemployment , such non-recruitment of staff is criminal !!

These policies of total mismanagement of railways continued under ten years of UPA govt !! It was against this background , that upa increased the fares in 2012 !! After 8 years of it's rule , it had not improved the services of railways , had not addressed staff shortage , had not addressed maintenance issues , or even that of cleanliness !! But just increased fares !! And This was the very thing that BJP opposed at that time !! Because just increasing fares without increasing issues is not done !!

And now , when BJP has come in power , it has inherited railways in such a terrible state !! A net loss of 8,000 crores per year means a loss of around rupees 22 crores per day !! Which is unsustainable if the railways has to redeem itself n recover from this mess !! Similar is the state of many public companies which has drained the country of its treasury !!

So to make the railways n ultimately the Country's finances healthy again , it was inevitable that Railway Fares be hiked !! But one thing that we can be assured of is , that there wud be sum improvement in services as well as several held up railway projects have been cleared by the new Government !!

" Acche Din " will cum , but it takes time to take the country out of such mess ! Modi had never promised that they wud cum immediately ! we wud have to wait atleast for a few months for it !! As Modi govt has said , 2 years recovery from UPA mess n then 3 years of growth !!!

India has seen 15 Lok Sabhas ,or ,in other words , has witnessed 15 General elections post independence ! It is an achievement for a country where the future of democracy has always been questioned from time to time by intellectuals and scholars all over the world right from the time our founding fathers enforced the constitution !!

For the first 3 decades post-independence ,India was practically a one party democracy . There were some opposition parties ,namely The Bharatiya Jana Sangha ,Swatantra Party ,Socialist Party ,the communists ,but none had the power to challenge the dominance of the Congress at the center . Most of these parties gained 20-40 seats in the Parliament ,while Congress always got a comfortable majority .

But this scenario changed drastically in 1977,when post-emergency ,the opposition parties united under one banner -Janata party , thanks to the efforts of Jayaprakash Narayan and other leaders of that time .

Janata won a majority ,but not on any ideological basis ,but only due to the unpopularity and excesses of the emergency rule !! The Emergency had totally belittled and undermined the status of all governmental and non-governmental organizations . The President , State Governors , Media , Police and whatever possible was made puppets to the then Prime Minister -Indira Gandhi ! Dictatorship without accountability had been imposed on a Nation which had embraced Elections .

Before 1977,General Elections were mostly limited to local issues , as it was impossible to defeat the congress . But in 1977 ,everything changed . People understood the true power of democracy when they punished the Congress for Emergency Rule !

India ,in 2013, after 9 years of UPA rule ,faces a situation similar to the one during emergency from 1975-1977. At that time ,PM Indira imposed Emergency on the Nation as otherwise she would have been forced to vacate her seat as she was convicted for electoral malpractises by Allahabad High Court , while today her daughter-in-law Sonia has imposed a robotic PM Manmohan Singh on the Nation as she herself cannot sit on the chair due to citizenship issues !! At that time ,media had been subdued by the use of force, while today many ,if not all National media channels and newspapers have been purchased with money power .The journalists werent able to criticize the government then , while today their spinelessness prevents them from doing so ! There was massive corruption during emergency , there is massive corruption now as well . The then president Fakhruddin Ali Ahmed were obedient to Indira Gandhi , while today's president Pranab Mukherjee and Pm Manmohan Singh are obedient to Sonia Gandhi !! The only major differences are the presence of an unstoppable social media and the rise in economic fortunes of millions of Indians between emergency and now !! Another difference is that while Emergency was the sole issue in 1977,price-rise,corruption n pseudo-secularism and terrorism r the core issues now !!

Thus ,in terms of cruciality, the General Elections of 2014 will be next ,only to those of 1977 ,1996 and 1998 ! In 2014 , as in 1977 , on one side lays dictatorship by a corrupt party leading to destruction , while on the other side lays democracy by a nationalist party with a promising future !! Anyone debating BJP's Nationalism can compare 6 years of Atal Bihari Vajpayee rule with 6 years of any congress government . Vajpayee rule will always emerge better !

The BJP today ,as did the Janata leaders of 1977 , faces the crucial question as to who should be the Prime Minister and bring the country out of the mess it has been put in by Congress . Janata chose Morarji Desai , who had proved himself to be an outstanding administrator during his tenure as CM of the then Bombay State . And now , BJP seems to be settling down on Gujarat CM Narendra Modi , whose development works in Gujarat have been appreciated and acknowledged by UN as well as several countries of the World .

Now,the question arises ,why would one rate Narendra Modi as the most qualified leader to lead the country facing a crucial point in its history ?? To this , we move to a direct comparison between decades of Congress rule in Center as well as Gujarat with Atal ji's 6 years at center and Modi's 12 years in Gujarat ,regarding their handling of various issues India has faced .

1) Economic Issues,Development and Corruption :

Congress ,under Nehru atleast ,handled the Indian Economy well. The policies of those days were keeping up with the time .A newly Independent country could seldom allow FDI,privatisation or even liberalisation ,as it would lead to exploitation of the country in the absence of a powerful and experienced government . The 5 year plans which were successfull in those times led to new dreams and new hopes . Lal Bahadur Shastri , in his short tenure ,ushered in the Green Revolution > The problems started when Lal Bahadur Shastri died an early death and Indira took over as PM. She was dictatorial in nature and could seldom tolerate any opposition .Thus in 1969,she split the Congress and formed her own Congress .which was known as Congress [R] and later as Congress [I] .In the old Congress , every appointment from the Provincial head to the PM candidate to the Congress president were decided on the basis of internal elections and thus the party was democratic .While ,in the new Congress ,only the loyalists of Indira and her son Sanjay got the posts of significance .Opposition to the Gandhi family meant outster from the party .Thus , with the weakness of the judiciary and excessive powers bestowed by the Emergency on her ,Indira got all the freedom to do corruption and make money as and well she liked and thus under her rule , corruption in India spread to grassroot levels .Its a legacy that has been continued by post Indira Congressi PMs Rajiv, PVNR and Manmohan , with each outsmarting the previous one.Magnitude and impact of scams kept on increasing with each year under Congress rule ! Congress [I] rulers always wanted more and more power in their hands so that they could do more and more corruption .2 facts are a proof of this -

1) Liberalisation ,Privatisation and Globalisation which could have been introduced in late 1960s or early 1970s was only introduced in 1991 when there was nothing else left to save the economy .

2) Even after 65 years of Independence, India is still not considered a business friendly Country , as starting a new business is always difficult here as one has to bribe lots of government officials and even ministers at times .

In contrast, most BJP leaders , if not all ,are not power-hungry . Advani built the road for Vajpayee to become PM , while Modi did that in Gujarat for Keshubhai Patel to become CM .The BJP is , and will remain ,atleast for the foreseeable future,a cadre-based democratic party where there are internal elections . A Democratic Country should only be led by a Democratic Party. BJP has always framed economic policies keeping up with the time . Vajpayee as PM provided road connectivity to approximately 1,82,000 villages . While Modi as Gujarat CM provided 24 x 7 electricity to all the 18,000 villages of Gujarat . At the same time ,heavy industrialisation also took place with Gujarat becoming a hub for Automobile ,Cements ,petrochemicals and several other industries . Thus Vajpayee and Modi ,could strike a balance between Western style heavy Industrialization and Gandhian economics which focused on Rural Development .

Talking about Agriculture ,India's agriculture growth rate has always been in the range of 1-4 percent in decades of Congress rule. Whereas Gujarat under Modi's reign has achieved double digit agricultural growth !! What could be the reasons for this ?? The most significant factor for Agricultural Development is Irrigation . Under Congress rule , corruption prevents growth of irrigation ,slowing its growth rate . For eg , in Maharashtra , after spending thousands of crores in Irrigation projects , the area under Irrigation didnt see any significant increase because of massive corruption. This is the scenario despite Maharashtra having Deccan's only perennial river-Godavari. In Assam , The Brahmaputra devastates the state every year with its flooding waters , which could be used for irrigating entire Northeast India with a proper canal system , but it never happened in decades of Congress rule .

Contradictorily , Gujarat ,which has only one Major river , Narmada , of which only a small portion flows through the state , has managed to utilise its waters with the Sardar Sarovar Project building dams across the river . Canals have been drawn from the Narmada to several places in Gujarat , providing water for drinking , agriculture as well as industries . Also solar power plants atop the canals prevent water from evaporation ,at the same time generating power from renewable sources . Imagine , if such power plants are built on top of some more major rivers and canals , how much more power could be generated and power shortages reduced across the country !!

In Gujarat ,every year , a month long agriculture festival is held across the state - called the Krishi Mahotsav ,when government officials and scientists directly meet farmers from villages and teach them about new agricultural techniques ,thus modernizing agriculture . If emulated at an all India level , this would work wonders for the country . The trust deficit between farmers and government would reduce in this way !!

Gujarat ,under Modi ,doesnt neglect its environment. It is the number one state in the country in terms of generation of power from renewable sources . There is a huge solar power park in Patan district , and several solar power plants atop the Narmada canal .Even Wind Power and Tidal power have been harnessed . the Van-Mahotsav , again a festival , deals with all forest related and tribals related issues of the state . On the contrary , Congress seldom cares for the environment . The Bhopal Gas Tragedy was a result of corruption and ignorance of previous warnings by Congress government. Forest Lands all over the country are being encroached by land and mining mafia . Wildlife poaching is a reality . Congress failed to protect even the National animal - Tiger, while ,in Gujarat ,the Asiatic Lion finds a safe home in Gir forests and its population has increased .

In 21st century , could India afford to ignore environmental concerns for sake of unsustainable development ?? the answer is a big NO !!

Congress never bothered to develop India as a tourist destination ,despite India having a huge potential. It was only after Vajpayee government started the ' Incredible India ' campaign did tourism receive a boost . Gujarat tourism under Modi has registered 30 % more tourist arrivals this year . Gujaratis were the best tourists but Gujarat was never a tourist destination despite having many attractions . But under Modi , it became one !!
Under Congress regime , inflation has been double digit whereas Vajpayee brought it between 2-3 % during his rule !! With credits to Finance Ministers Yashwant Sinha and Jaswant Singh as well

Thus , Modi became the king of development and can do the same for India .

 2) National Security,Communal Tensions and Terrorism :

Being a multi-religious Country,India has always been a hotbed of Communal Politics - propagated by Congress and so called ' secular ' parties . It all started when Nehru government adopted a non uniform civil code - different laws for Hindus and Muslims , and started Haj subsidy . Indira continued this pseudo-secularism or minority appeasement politics by allowing Bangladeshi refugees to settle in India even after the 1971 war . Rajiv Gandhi has the Shah-Bano case and Sikh Massacre to his credits while PV Narasimha Rao failed to quell Kashmir terrorism in its formative years when it easily could have been tackled .

There are several more examples of pseudo-secularism one can give !! to write in detail about the subject , perhaps a book would be required.

In UPA regime , pseudo-secularism has crossed all its limits .The tough anti-terrorism law POTA brought by BJP to counter terrorism was withdrawn by UPA government in 2004 under the false pretext of it being anti-minority. Arrested terrorists like Kasab and Afzal are given 5 star treatment , while Hindus falsely accused of terrorism rot in medieval jails even without a proper chargesheet. Afzal Guru's who was supposed to be hanged in October 2006 was kept alive till 2013 just to appease muslims !!

In contrast ,BJP government with Advani as Home Minister never politicised terrorism . Laws like POTA were brought to supplement the tireless efforts of policemen and security agencies .Under POTA , it became far more easier to punish a terrorist ! Under Advani's reign as HM , more than 300 LeT terrorist cells were busted throughout the country while they are flourishing all over India under UPA rule . During BJP rule at center ,only Mumbai , Delhi ,Kashmir and Northeast were targeted but now as evident from Bodhgaya blasts no town in India seems safe from terrorism !!

In today;s time , only Modi can continue this legacy of Advani !! He has already proved this by tacking strict action against perpetrators of Ahmedabad blasts of 2008 .

Now coming to communal violence , vast majority of the major communal riots in India have taken place under Congress regime . Eg : Bhagalpur riots of 1989 ,Mumbai riots of 1992-1993 ,Sikh massacre of 1984 , Meerut riots of 1981 , Ahmedabad riots of 1969 and many , many more !! The reason for this is , due to vote-bank politics ,Congress never took strict action against the perpetrators of those riots .

Gujarat had a long history of communal violence before Modi . The state had witnessed large scale rioting in 1969,1981,1985,1992 etc . Not to talk about several more small riots . Any stupid reason could spark a riot there . many more Hindus and Muslims were killed in these riots than those on 2002 . When the Godhra train burning took place in 2002 , it was perhaps , the biggest trigger a communal riot can ever have . For burning 59 Hindus in a train was not going to go unpunished . But on the first day itself , Modi cancelled the leaves of all policemen and ordered them to stop the riots , even the army was called without delay - this , being in sharp contrast to Delhi 1984 when , under congress rule , not even a single policeman or soldier was visible on the streets giving a free run to the rioters . Modi in his office was busy receiving phone calls from desperate people of all communities seeking life-saving help from barbarous mobs , and he attended to these calls with swift action . Consider a single example ,400 people were trapped in a Bhavnagar madarassa , obviously muslims . they were surrounded by a huge mob . 1 of the persons inside knew Advani personally , called him , who in turn called Modi , and both Advani and Modi ensured their safety .

One may then wonder , what caused the death toll to cross 1,000 in 2002 ??

1) No action had been taken by previous congress governments against the perpetrators of previous riots ,thus giving impression that one can riot without fear of law .

2) Godhra train burning being the biggest trigger a riot can possibly get .

3) Involvement of Congressmen in Godhra train burning as well as post Godhra riots .

4) 24 x 7 coverage by a shameless and unethical media , who never bothered about the consequences of their telecast.

Modi's leadership assured , that no big incident takes place after first three days . After 2002 riots , Gujarat became a riot free state , all thanks to Modi . By stopping riots completely , didnt Modi save the lives of Hundreds of Muslims as well as Hindus who would have been otherewise butchered in riots ??

3) Disaster Management :

Disaster Mangement of Congress governments has been worst , as is evident by the recent Uttarakhand tragedy .ISRO as well as Meteorological department had given warnings on June 14,15 and 16. They advised to stop the Char Dham Yatra and take people to safer places as threats of heavy rains and floods loomed. Everyone from the State Home Ministry to the District Magistrate was warned . But as fate would have it,Congressi Home Ministry never took the warning seriously . The result is known to all . Even after the tragedy struck , entire disaster management was done by Army , Airforce , Volunteers of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh and NGOs like Baba Ramdev's Bharat Swabhimaan trust !! Government rescue teams were nowhere in sight . To the few places where they went , they didnt have food and water with them !! Now consider this - Rahul Gandhi was on a foreign Vacation when disaster struck . By some accounts ,he had gone there for a haircut , hard to believe , but no surprise when one remembers that Nehru's clothes were sent to foreign for laundry . For almost a week , Rahul Gandhi didnt return . When he did ,another disaster struck. He visited Uttarakhand on June 24, after doing some time-pass he decided to spend night there. The IAF chopper that crashed the next day of Rahul Gandhi's visit , June 25 ,killing 20 people was piloted by late Wing Commander Darryl Castelino !! He had worked in rescue operations the whole day on June 24 , returning tired to the ITBP guesthouse to rest . When Rahul decided to spend the night there , Darryl Castelino was made to vacate the guesthouse to make way for Rahul . A Wing Commander was denied rest after a whole day of tiresome duty . Thus next day , without rest , he reported to duty , as military men are taught to !! Even driving a Train can be dangerous without rest , he had to pilot a chopper , that too in treacherous weather . The result is the chopper crashed !! Now isnt Rahul Gandhi responsible for those 20 deaths ?? Does a person who lacks sensitivity even during such crisis deserve a place in Indian politics ?? wud an India lover ever do such things ?? No. Even Sonia Gandhi and Manmohan Singh ,visited Uttarakhand on a Plane , and the entire Air Traffic of areas where they visited were shut down to make way for their disaster tourism , adversely influencing relief operations !! How many people might have died due to delay , only God can tell ! The relief trucks which were prepared by the Congressis in Delhi were made to wait three days for Rahul Gandhi's return and then flagged off , only to end up in Haridwar and Rishikesh as they werent paid properly for diesel . On the contrary , none of the BJP leaders had any constitutional responsibility to take part in Uttarakhand disaster relief . yet , having some levels of patriotism , everyone did !! Narendra Modi and Shivraj Singh Chauhan sent their rescue teams from their states to Uttarakhand. set up camps , and were rescuing whoever they could . But mainstream media , which is paid by Congress , tried to malign Modi like they always do . First they , and not Modi - falsely claimed that Modi had resuced 15,000 people and then themselves exposed it .
Modi's management of Gujarat earthquake was outstanding. Houses and infrastructure were restored speedily . The state recovered from Earthquake in just 3 years . Handlinng of Gujarat Earthquake by Modi is proof that one cant bring back the dead but one can improve the lives of those alive.

Just ask yourself one question now , if u were trapped in a natural disaster , and had only one call to make , whom would u call ?? People like Narendra Modi and Shivraj Singh Chauhan or any Congress man ???

Now,apart from the several natural disasters the Congress failed to tackle ,lets talk about a man-made one ,The Bhopal Gas Tragedy - where thousands of people perished and thousands more die a daily death with several diseases due to prolonged exposure to Methyl Iso-Cyanate gas !! The question is , was the tragedy preventable ?? By all accounts I wud say ,yes ! When Union Carbide opened its plant in Bhopal in 1969 , the Indian government , that is ,the Central government [under Congress [I] ] ,held a 49.1 percent stake in it !! As one finds on wikipedia , several previous incidents of gas leak and plant malfunction had taken place from 1981-1984 !! In 1976, two unions had complained about pollution in the plant . Several factors which contributed to the gas leak were - using a more dangerous method for gas production , SWITCHING OFF ALL THE SECURITY SYSTEMS JUST TO SAVE SOME MONEY , storing gas in tanks beyond the limit and all . Had the previous gas leaks and incidents been taken seriously , wudnt thousands of lives have been saved ?? If one ignores all the pre-warnings to a big disaster , and then it strikes , who is responsible for it ?? Even without ownership , the government has the powers to stop any industrial plant that is hazardous to environment and life , but here the congress government itself was the owner !! In the years after Indira broke Congress in 1969 , the entire system was corrupted from top to bottom . Without bribing government officials ,ignorance of previous warnings would never have taken place . The CEO of Union Carbide ,Warren Anderson visited the disaster site within few days of the tragedy , was arrested [ for show off ] , But then ..... given bail in just 6 HOURS , ferried on a state government [Congress] plane to New Delhi , and then allowed to escape to USA ,never to return !! Rajiv Gandhi was the PM then who allowed this to happen !! Quite obviously so that his mother's government doesnt get black-faced in this !!

Can traitors like this ever be allowed to rule India ?? The answer is a big NO !! Another reason why India needs to kick out Congress and vote BJP and Narendra Modi to power !!

4) Foreign Policy :

India , along with Israel , has got the worst neighbourhood in the world ! We have got countries like Pakistan and Bangladesh which are terrorist havens , then we have countries like Srilanka , Nepal , Myanmar , Maldives who are mostly politically unstable . Then we have Bhutan which doesnt matter much , Afghanistan borders us in POK . Then we have the big neighbour , China !!

Coming to China first , it was a victim of imperialism , like India , right upto 1940s . But the Chinese civil war changed everything !! The communists replaced the Kuomintangs and Mao Zedong assumed power in 1949. One of the first things which China did after regime change was invading and annexing Tibet in 1950 ! Tibet was an independent country , but China swallowed it like a predator does its prey !! To the then PM Nehru , it meant nothing . he couldnt sense that the new China was just as imperial as the British and the French . However Sardar Patel , who had more foresight and who was Home minister and Deputy Prime Minister , sensed this and wrote a long letter to Nehru regarding the matter , urging him to strengthen India 's defences and oppose Chinese annexation of Tibet . But Nehru never did . He thought China could be trusted and China could not be a threat to India ! An illusion which would prove costly 12 years later , in 1962 , when Chinese invasion brought India to near collapse . India was offered a permanent seat in the UN security council , which was well deserved , considering we were the ones who had shown the colonial world the path to freedom !! But nehru gifted it to China as a ' friendhip gesture '. Independent India's first scamster , Krishna Menon , who was involved with Jeep scam in 1948 , was made Defence Minister , despite several Congress men opposing it , just because he was nehru's friend . Tragedy was that the person didnt love India much , he liked Europe and US , but not India . He was defence minister , but did the work of foreign minister ,visiting foreign countries on the slightest pretext . He was of the opinion that since Pakistan and China were our friends now , there was no need for an Army and it should be dismantled !! Imagine , a defence minister talking of dismantling the army . He made cuts in the defence budget instead of increasing it , arms factories were converted to other things , and Nehru allowed it all , just to keep his friendhip. opposition to Menon increased to such an extent that J.B. Kripalani , who was congress president in 1947 during independence decided to leave congress and fight Menon from his North Mumbai constituency in the 1962 General Elections , to prevent him from entering parliament and thus making him quit as defence minister . But alas , he lost to him !! The result is when Chinese attacked India in 1962 , spitting on nehru's ' Hindi Chini bhai bhai slogan ' , our army was totally unprepared , it didnt have proper weapons and it didnt have proper shoes as well , the result being several Indian soldiers dying due to cold and lack of proper roads in border areas . India lost the war , but the loss wasnt inflicted by China , but by our own congress government !!
The present UPA government continues similar policies . When the recent India-China border standoff took place with Chinese entering 19 kms into India , UPA government refused to accept it as a serious issue , dubbing it as a local issue . Chinese incursions into India have increased , but they are not being taken seriously by UPA government . On the contrary , cheap and third-class Chinese products are penetrating Indian market . When Holi comes , we have Chinese colours and related products , which are harmful to skin . When Diwali comes , we have Chinese crackers dominate the market. Chinese toys which have been found harmful for children have already entered our market . We see made in China products everywhere !! A simple threat of a ban on some of these products would bring China to its senses . For Chinese depend on us to a lot of extent economically . Without Indian Iron-ore , Chinese industries would face raw material shortage . Without Indian markets , their products wouldnt sell much . But as our Congress government has a third -class foreign policy , Chinese continue to bully us , repeatedly claiming Arunachal Pradesh !!

Now coming to Pakistan , Nehru gifted a portion of Kashmir to Pakistan by unnecessarily taking the dispute to United Nations !! Thus India cannot really claim victory in 1947 First Kashmir War , because Pakistan got much more than what it should have , as Indian army and Air Force were capable of throwing the invaders out !! The 1965 war was a stalemate , while the 1971 war was won by India . Bangladesh was created and Pakistan was partitioned , Good !! But Y didnt Indira Gandhi take back our own POK from Pakistan ?? Captured Territory as well as captured 90,000 soldiers of pakistan were returned to pakistan by the Shimla agreement , but our own POK was not taken back !! What kind of victory was this ? Do we ever hear of a victor not taking back his own property from a vanquished enemy ?? Article 370 giving Kashmir was perhaps necessary to secure the state's accession to India !! But even after so many years of Congress rule , it wasnt withdrawn !! Indira damaged the constitution severely during the emergency with 42nd amendment but didnt bother to withdraw article 370 which hampers Kashmir's progress to this date !!
The came the 1980s ! The 1987 Assembly elections in J & K ,saw rampant election malpractises by congress and its allies !! This proved to be a massive trigger initiating terrorism in Kashmir in 1989 !! Unhappy youths crossed over to POK in 1988 , were not stopped . They went militant training by Pakistanis , and came back an year later in 1989 as terrorists , were not stopped either !! Congress has remained silent on the exodus and genocide of Kashmiri Pundits who have become a refugee in their own country !
Pakistan has been sponsoring anti-India terrorism and sheltering Indian criminals right since 1980s . First Punjab ,then Kashmir !! but all Congress government does is appeasing it ! 250 million rupees were donated to Pakistan for flood relief despite knowing that it wud be used against India !! Obtaining visas have been made easy for Pakistanis when they should have been made impossible to obtain !! During sports events like Commonwealth Games 2010 and ICC cricket world cup 2011 , several Pakistanis came to India , but none bothered to check how many returned . Now terrorists can easily take visas posing as ordinary pakistanis and visit India . This , after a terrorist like David Headley had legally entered India and surveyed targets for 26/11 !! If one says that India doesnt learn lessons from tragedies ,doesnt value it's citizens lives, it wud be wrong . Its only that Congress doesnt want to learn from tragedies and congress doesnt value lives !! To equate congress with entire nation wud b wrong !!

Now compare these with BJP led NDA policies on China and Pakistan . China first - Vajpayee made sure that China accepts Sikkim as a part of India during his China visit in 2003 !! He did try to improve relations with China , but not at the cost of Indian pride . One didnt find third class and harmful Chinese products in Indian markets during NDA rule !! Also , modernisation of Military was faster with a Nationalist like George Fernandes as defence minister , unlike today when its slow !! Under Vajpayee , incidents of Chinese incursions were low !!
Coming to Pakistan , its not that BJP never tried for peace . Vajpayee himself went to Lahore in a bus for this !! But when Pakistanis backstabbed us in Kargil , Vajpayee was decisive !! He handled the issue well , giving Indian army and Air Force full support and mobilising a nation for the cause !! He did invite Musharraf again in 2001 , which even I feel he shouldnt have !! But when Musharraf refused to acknowledge terrorism , dubbing it as freedom struggle , he was asked to leave , and then no negotiations and talks were done with pakistan for 3 years till 2004 when Mussharaf stated that he wud make sure Pakistani soil is not used for anti-India terrorism !!
These are the policies which India needs to emulate today ! And expecting Congress to do that would be a folly !! Only BJP and MODI can do it !! To a question on how to handle international pressure ,Modi replied in an interview on India TV's ' Aap Ki Adalat ' , " we r a nation of 120 crore people , we can put pressure on the entire world ! How can the world put pressure on us ?? " . This is the attitude we require of a Prime Minister and not the silence of Manmohan Singh !!

Does one need more reasons to choose Narendra Modi ?? I end up this article with a slogan in Hindi - Loot Ta Bharat kare pukaar , Narendra Modi abki baar !!!
